Eye Physician Associates

Surprised by the number of reviews complaining about wait times but there are only 25 reviews at the moment and not all of them are poor. Considering the number of people they must see, it isn't many complaints. We've rarely experienced much delay at all. Various staff members from front office to physicians have been wonderful. I've been present in exams as my friend has memory issues and they have taken exceptional care to answer not only her questions but mine. They are very considerate of limited mobility. I take an elderly friend/neighbor here and we had about seven appointments last year as she had bilateral cataract surgeries. If I did not already have an eyecare practice that I've liked for many years, I would transfer my care to EPA without hesitation. As for being out for money, my friend asked if she should obtain glasses and her physician said that he really didn't feel as though she needed them. He could have easily talked her into a purchase. We saw all three of the "B" doctors over the course of her care. We like them all!

Waited 20 minutes past my scheduled time to be seen. The first assistant opened up and drank an energy drink during my first exam. I understand being thirsty or wanting something but don't do that in front of your patients during testing; it's unprofessional. The waiting in between rounds of testing was really the issue at this clinic. All that waiting I had to do before and in between would not be worth future eye exams. It's a shame cause the doctor was very friendly and helpful but I wouldn't go back here. They need to stop overbooking and get their management together.

I am writing a note for anyone who is interested in coming here. be aware you might not be getting out of there in a time frame that you need to be. They over book people and don't pay attention to classified information on each appointment document. I think they money hungry and they don't understand the constraints of each individual person. They don't listen to the patient neither do they care. They smile in your face but behind your back they so rude about people health issues or concerns. They don't pay attention to details and don't care about you. I stayed hours in there and booked my appointment and still got seen last. She then said it's multiple doctors in there. But I'm pretty sure someone was overbooked or late . They need to have a policy for people who come late and make them wait or reschedule them and not the person who showed up at their appointment time.

I had an excellent experience at Eye Associates. I read terrible reviews but followed the advice of a good friend and am very glad that I did. All of the staff was very friendly and professional. I was seen a few minutes before my appointment time. Dr. Brueggeman is awesome. She listened to my concerns and was very thorough in her exam. She did a great job of explaining things. She was friendly and professional. I will definitely go back.

The reviews are true. Dr. Bjerregaard is friendly and professional. The front desk staff was friendly today but not friendly nor welcoming at my last appointment. I rarely read reviews of medical staff because I know they're all trying their best but the scheduler needs help. I was told to arrive at my 11:30am appointment 15 minutes early, after waiting for ONE HOUR I asked the receptionist if I could be seen immediately. Get this -- I was told I was the doctor's LAST PATIENT of the day and there were THREE more patients ahead of me! Huh?!? Do they think people have time to sit around a doctor's office all day and no other responsibilities? I asked why I had been asked to arrive, ~3?! hours early and the receptionist just shrugged. I said I'd find a new doctor and left. Make it make sense.

Wonderful doctors but I will not be returning. In the past 5 visits I have had to wait more than an hour just to see the doc for 5 minutes. Disrespectful.

Dr. Hirsch is an excellent healthcare professional. He is courteous and explains procedures and recovery processes thoroughly. It is apparent that Dr. Hirsch is very knowledgeable in cornea care as he understands up-to-date advanced surgical procedures and information. Dr. Hirsch was willing to listen and answer any questions I had as well. The techs at Eye Physician Associates were just as great. Overall, the staff made me feel that I was cared for.

Staff are very nice, Doctors are very good. I was in on time, they did my exam and were very pleasant. They are my eye doctors going forward! I even got in within a week!! Others have 3 to 6 month appointments, which is ridiculous!!
