My girls and I had an amazing time getting our eyes checked at 414 Eyes. This team was amazing. Danielle at the front office made us all feel so welcome. She helped us through every process, from booking our appointment via phone call to picking the perfect frames. Both Dr Fan and Dr. Smith were very nice, funny, very helpful yet very professional. We also got the glasses on time and we love it. We will definitely come back for future eye care needs. Danielle, thanks so much for all your patience with me, answering all my questions, (even when I called after our appointments) and giving my girls cool tips on how to take good care of their glasses.

Danielle did such an amazing job helping me pick out my glasses that I needed. I get so many compliments. Dr Janice is so sweet and has patience when it came to the eye examination. I'll be taking my family here since I feel I'm not being rushed in anyway. Any adjustments that have been needed Danielle was on top of it. Thank you 414 Eyes!

I had such an incredible experience at 414Eyes on 76th Street. My appointment was at 1:30, and by 3:00 PM my glasses were completely finished and ready to wear as I walked out the door. That included my full exam, dilation, and having my prescription read and fitted -- which honestly blew me away. I've been to other eye care places where you're left waiting weeks just for a prescription to be sent out, fitted, shipped back, and then scheduled for pickup. This was the complete opposite. The staff was kind, efficient, and clearly values your time. Everything felt smooth, modern, and genuinely patient-centered. If you're looking for excellent service, fast turnaround, and a team that truly knows what they're doing, I can't recommend 414Eyes enough. Hands down one of the best eye care experiences I've had.

I called to set an appointment for my child, the receptionist ask me to hold on for a moment, I was on hold for 20 mins. I called back and told the receptionist I was on hold for about 20 mins & wasn't sure if it was busy or she forgot, she apologized & I set my appointment. I called again a week after the first initial call because I had a couple questions about my child's recent appointment, as I was explaining why I am calling, the receptionist immediately tells me to hold on. I was on hold for 7 mins, I hung up the phone & called again & explained to the receptionist this is my 2nd time calling & being put on hold for a long period of time & all she had to say; "what can I do for you?" I did ask her if she was going to apologize because it is rude to not acknowledge a customer being on hold on 2 different occasions for long periods of time. She did apologize after I asked for one but her customer service skills could definitely use some work! It's a way you speak to customers on the phone to make them feel welcomed to make an appointment to their establishment. I took the first call as a mistake that I was on hold for over 20 mins, but after the second call I know it was done intentionally. It was either an act of linguistic profiling or the receptionist is just unprofessional which is not a good trait to have as a receptionist! I cannot say much on the actual appointment because my husband took our child but as far as the receptionist, she needs to be more professional. A simple 'sorry' to a customer can go a long way in that line of business & to ACTUALLY take your customers phone calls & not have them on hold for long periods of time! I wouldn't have to assume I was being linguistically profiled or even racially profiled (which I highly think I was). If you are a POC think TWICE before booking an appointment especially if this business has the same rude receptionist!

Dr Janice Fan and Optician Danielle are amazing! Very easygoing. Making my eye exam comfortable in a relaxed atmosphere. Been a patient here for 2 years. Look forward to my Annual Eye Exam. Was able to get great frames, with thinner light weight lenses. With anti glare and scratch resistance. Amazing price. Ready in 30 minutes. Thank You 414 Eyes for everything! Highly recommend!

Dr. Janice Fan is my new optometrist, and she is the best! I felt so welcomed by her and I was able to express my eye concerns and I felt heard and seen. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone. She is courteous , kind and professional as well as the front office staff member is professional and courteous. A review about this place not being welcoming to people of color I don't get because I am a woman of color and it was very welcoming. 10/10 would recommend, give it a try and support local businesses!

The staff is so friendly! They made my kids feel so comfortable and making the appointment into a fun experience for them. I absolutely love it there and will continue to do business with them. Incredible staff!!!

Dr. Janice Fan is the best! I've seen her a few times- as well as my partner- and she is always so kind, professional, warm, and knowledgeable. She makes you feel comfortable and valued, and is able to answer questions and explain things in a way that's super easy to understand. Highly recommend.
