Bronze Optical

In my opinion, Bronze Optical is one of the shops setting the standard for optical service in Milwaukee. Tim, Justine, and Dr. Fan are consummate professionals in their fields. They went out of their way to order a discontinued frame for me last year (Ornette from L.A. Eyeworks); they're honestly the best eyeglasses I've ever owned and they garner compliments wherever I go. The team here does a terrific job with adjustments and exams, and their frame selection is terrific (especially for someone with a wide face like me). Highly recommended!

Tim took one look at my girlfriend's face and recommended the perfect style of frame; she instantly loved the look. In addition, he was flexible with a sale they were advertising at the time as we were between insurance plans at the time. Between their expertise and kindness, you'll be well taken care of here.

I came in yesterday seeking help adjusting a pair of glasses that has been giving me headaches for months. Tim was so meticulous and helpful, even letting me come back again later in the day for additional tweaks. The result is something I've never experienced in my 25 years of wearing glasses: my glasses stay on my face, don't squeeze or hurt, AND don't get eyelash smears on the lenses. At best in the past, I've only ever managed to achieve two out of these three! Truly, life changing. I'd trust this store with any/all optometrist/optician needs implicitly after this.

This is a great shop. Justine and Tim were very helpful in finding some colorful frames for me to try. They were entirely transparent about pricing and recommended lenses/features. I love the selection here, they have many wide frames to fit a big head like mine - those are hard to come by! I'll definitely be returning.

I had to find a new optometrist with my move and I walked past this one near my neighborhood several times. I was a little afraid it would be snooty but nope. I have NEVER had this much FUN getting a new prescription and lenses! Super, super, super nice everybody and the BEST covid precautions! You're met at the locked entrance and they make sure you are wearing a mask correctly. You get a squirt if sanitizer as soon as you walk in. Everything is sanitized after use, everyone is distanced, and no one wanders around. The frames you select are put in a tray by the person helping you and then sanitized before being put back. If you want to see yourself without a mask you get a hand mirror and a private area in the entryway to take a look. Just all around AWESOME!

Absolutely recommend! Justine and Dr. Fan were both fantastic! I got to meet Tim and his sweet dog Ivy. Great experience, Justine helped me find a beautiful pair of glasses that suit me perfectly. So glad I found Bronze Optical. Thank you for such wonderful service!

I have been going to Bronze for my glasses for about the last 8 years. They are absolutely top tier in customer service and the selection of frames is outstanding. You make an appointment with someone who will ensure you walk out with a great new pair of glasses that will fit you perfectly. And they are great at their job - I don't think I've ever purchased a pair of glasses I had originally picked out. They always do a better job than I can at picking the right frame for my face. Also, the frames are great quality. I actually still have every pair I've ever gotten and they've held up extremely well over time. I can't recommend this place enough. If you're in the market for some new glasses, give them a try!
