I am so glad I had this procedure done. While I had some anxiety as anyone does about a medical procedure, Dr. Sward, the other doctors in the group and the entire staff did a great job of educating me about what to expect. The care and office visits after surgery were excellent.

Dr Sward did my cataract surgery on eye ... She is personable and answered my questions .. She takes her time to help you understand. I recommend her .. I'm overall pleased but still having difficulty sadly for me 2.5 weeks post op with a few rare issue vitreous floater issue and she working along side me to take great care to watch me closely and we hope to not go to the next step and my issue resolves on its own very soon . She understands my concern and frustration.of this unexpected situation a few weeks of post op Overall my office and her demeanor have been wonderful with Dr Sward .. .

I chose Doctor Sward for her many five star reviews. She performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes. The reviews I read commended her for being both personable and knowledgeable. I can certainly agree with that. However, these reviews were posted before these patients realized the results of their surgery. I waited several months after my surgery to write this review because of the many cuts in my eyes from RK surgery 25 years ago. For the first month after the surgery, I was somewhat disappointed. My eyesight without glasses was not very good. After two months, the right eye improved considerably, but the left eye which had previously been the stronger of the two eyes was weak. I'm happy to report that three months after the surgery, the left eye is now almost as good as the right eye which has Improved and stabilized. They are not 20-20 vision, but I can now play golf, tennis, drive, and do everything except read without glasses. I'm happy to report that my vision is even better than Doctor Sward expected. I highly recommend her without reservation and Inform you that if you have previously had RK surgery and now must have cataract surgery; have patience. It takes several months for the eyes to settle down and have good vision under these conditions. I am so happy that I chose Doctor Sward. The doctor and her entire staff were friendly, experts in their field, and helpful. You will not regret going to Doctor Mackenzie Sward.

DFr. Sward was very personable and helpful with my yearly eye checkup. However, she said she will be cutting down on patient visits and focusing on surgeries, so that's too bad for her patient visits.

Dr. Sward has been very attentive and helpful to my needs !

My mom had her first appointment with Dr. Sward and was given her first injection for dry macular degeneration. We were impressed with Dr. Sward's knowledge and how well the appointment went. We would highly recommend her!
