Really disappointed... We've been going here for a few years, mostly because it is close. The first time we were there we waited 30 minutes after the exam, just to pay for the exam because the only person working was helping someone order a pair of glasses. During my most recent visit I asked the doc if my prescription stayed the same, he said that it did. I ordered contacts, but received the wrong prescription in the mail. Then I recalled that last year I was between prescriptions and I ended up going with the lower one, but he prescribed the higher one this year. I called and asked to try the higher ones, so that I could decide which one to go with. They said they would leave a set of trials at the desk for me. They said they were open until 4:30. To which I said "4:30?" She reiterated that they close at 4:30 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and are open until 6:30 on Thursdays. I told her I wasn't going to be able to make it there by 4:30, but we don't live far I was going to try to have one of my kids walk over and pick them up for me. However it's cold and the sidewalks are icy, so I decided to leave work early to make it there by 4:30. When I got there I noticed that their sign said that they were open until 5:00 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Fridays and 7:00 on Thursdays. I told the person at the desk that their website says 5:00 and 7:00, Google says 5:00 and 7:00 and their door says 5:00 and 7:00, yet I was told 4:30 and 6:30 when I called earlier. She told me that their system shuts down at 4:30 and 6:30, so if I wanted to order contacts or anything. I told her that the person I talked to knew that I was only coming to pick up contacts and that I would not be placing an order today, that I left work early and didn't need to. She stared at me blankly, she did not apologize. While the prescription mix up was a hassle, it was forgivable as it was an honest mistake. I will not tolerate blatant disregard and disrespect for my time.

Laura was amazing and very helpful while my 4 year old needed to pick out glasses. She explained everything to us and made sure my son was comfortable and confident in his new glasses!

I'm giving this company a one star because they don't list important information online for those with Medicare Badger plus insurance. They say they take all insurances, however, when you book an appointment on an available day, they will call you back up and say I'm sorry it's not available. We only take two appointments with that insurance a day period I had made an appointment for January 3 which is in four days and they said they couldn't get me in until April! This is very frustrating when trying to find an eye appointment for a basic test to get glasses. Buyer beware when trying to squeeze in an appointment! You may want to try somebody else. I don't recommend these people at all.

Made appointment Two weeks ago got a confirmation email, as well a text. Had to arrange at work to come in late for work for appointment to get there and find out the receptionist, canceled my appointment placed someone else in there all without calling texting, or even sending a email. As if I had time to waste. Let not forget it's was because of state insurance, which I do not have. And stated my insurance must have not been approved, which is not true I had just spoke with them in advance to make sure all was okay. Very poor consumer service. Non caring. RUDE.

Laura was the most helpful and patient in my selection of glasses. Very thorough and showed me exactly what I was looking for g for. Best agent I've experienced here.

Dr.Mike and Steve. I just want both of you to know what a pleasure it was to have Carly, Sue and especially Bela who helped me solve a problem with my insurance. Bela stayed on the phone for about 30 minutes and finally got to the problem. I was totally impressed with the way she handled the situation. Please pass on a thank you from me for their help. Yady and Carly helped at this practice and the services and doctors were the best! They showed me options for my new glasses with opinions on what works with my face structure and gave me the BEST prices with my insurance and sales going on. Definitely recommend coming here for any optical help!!

My husband and I have been a customer of this business for several years. We have had a very pleasant experience every time. I was concerned when Grange Vision changed its name to My Eye Dr., yet our experience remains the best retail experience we have had in a very long time. When I find a person that I am comfortable working with, I tend to request that person each time. However when that was not possible due to various reasons, I was very surprised that my experience was still very good no matter who I worked with. During my last visit, Carly P. was very kind and patient. She answered all of my questions and helped me order a new pair of glasses. Dr. Stephen Waclawski took very good care of us during the exams.
