Todd M. Yackels, OD

I can honestly say that Dr. Yackels has been the best eye doctor I have had throughout the last 15 years, and has been my main OD for the last 6 or so years. He's very attentive and will give you a thorough response when you ask questions or have concerns. He knows the state of my eyesight is absolutely terrible for a 20 year old, but instead of telling me it's terrible, poking fun or judging me as others have in the past, he's supportive and I can tell he truly just wants me to have the best experience. I've tried three different contact lenses since seeing him, first different brands for monthly and now daily/single wear. With astigmatism, it's hard to find a good deal on contacts. Yackels and his wonderful team all collectively helped me to find what works best with my insurance/wallet, and my lifestyle. I will be visiting again very soon after my trial with these contacts is done, so I can place an order for more and get new glasses as well. Dr. Yackels appointments are comfortable, quick, and informitive. Down the road when I am ready for lasic, I plan on contacting Yackels for any tips and references to doctors he trusts. The whole team at the Target Optical on Moorland Rd. is composed of wonderful people, I highly recommend seeing them.
