Clements Vision Care

Had my first appointment at Clements Vision Care and it was a very pleasant one. The front desk assistant was very helpful, provided me with all information and paperwork about the visit and was very transparent with what was covered and not by insurance which I really appreciate it. The tech was very knowledgeable and respectful and performed all tests with professionalism while explaining the reason behind each test and what was measured. Did not had to wait long for Dr. Clements to see me. Dr. Clements listened to all my concerns and took the time to explain my results and provide solutions. In addition he was able to point to resources taking into consideration what was best for the patient. Truly grateful to have had this experience on my first visit and will continue coming to this clinic for care.

I have received exceptional care at Clements. There was an very knowledgeable and kind young lady that assisted me in pricing out a few different pairs of glasses and what was in my budget with my insurance. Overall excellent experience.

The technician was skilled in conducting all of the eye exams. Dr Lisa Zarwell is very thorough, knowledgeable and thoughtful. She took time to talk with me about my eye condition and next steps that are available. Her demeanor and care builds confidence and trust!!

I would like to say that everyone from the receptionist to the doctor Kalli Choles were amazing. This was my first experience with having to get full time glasses and everyone was prompt and very efficient. Highly recommend that if you're looking for an eye doctor to make Clements your first choice.

Terrific! Brought my Sister, who has dementia, to Clement's Vision Care for her annual eye exam. Every single person we interacted with was exceptional. Kind, thorough, thoughtful, and the doctor was pleased to say it was an excellent exam, even though parts of it confused her. They say it takes a village and it does: Clements Vision Care will continue to be part of our Village. I am very grateful to have found this place and highly recommend it.

I have been a patient at Clements Vision Care for years, and as always had a great experience at my recent visit. The staff was friendly, thorough and prompt, from check-in to services provided. Dr. Zarwell takes the time to go over all exam results carefully and to answer any questions I have. I highly recommend Clements Vision Care!

I will start with the good because I am an optimist. The receptionist was amazing very sweet. The man who took me back and started my appointment also was kind and did his job well! The ophthalmologist was a specialist in dry eyes and very kind and good at his job. On the contrary the Optician and the Optical Dispenser did not make me feel welcome they were very aggressive in nature towards me when I went to look at glasses between when I got there and when I started my appointment. All I wanted to do was look at glasses to pass the time until I was called back the receptionist said that would be just fine but the moment I walked over to the other side of the clinic and started looking I got treated as if I don't belong there like I just wondered in from outside which even if I did who cares if I was buying glasses. When I told them I was just looking the optician asked me for my DOB which I then again told her I was just looking at this moment she preceded to aggressively tell me to give her my DOB so I did and tried to keep looking when the other person asked me do I have an appointment also very aggressively like I was ruining their conversation and bothering them mind you I was over with the receptionist for a good 5/7 minutes before I walked over to the glasses they were very unkind and aggressive very unwelcoming and I'd never pick glasses out at this location but the good side to everything is the receptionist called the other location and when my appointment was done I drove over there and was met by the sweetest women who kindly greeted me helped me kindly pick out two frames and turned everything around for me I went to crying from being attacked and feeling unwelcome to leaving the other location with a big smile on my face excited for the new frames I ordered. If you have to get frames I suggest you go to the prairie lakes dr location if you have dry eyes the specialist seems to be at the main st location both locations have very good receptionists from my experience. Been going to this eye dr for years but I usually go to prairie lakes location and will continue to choose them in the future I like to go where I feel welcome and where people are all treated with respect and dignity no one should ever be made to feel they don't belong in a place where they do business the state of the world is toxic enough if your job makes you feel bothered maybe you should find another job so people who are not annoyed by others can be in a position to help others find frames they love. I went on 2/10/26 so whoever was working that morning is who needs correction or learn how to positively speak to strangers and "help" them.

All aspects were excellent. Adam was super as a technician and explained things very well. I was impressed with the equipment and love having a scan vs having my eyes dilated. Dr. Koutnik was very thorough and Lauren excellent with getting fitted for frames, options.
