Be Spectacled

Very classy shop, something you would expect in a luxury shopping mall. The room is tastefully decorated with lots of space, comfortable seating and no pressure staff. The service is attentive and respectful. I have purchased frames and lenses from here for years, and they have been great about follow-up adjustments and "cleaning", including getting spray paint off the lenses at one point! Most highly recommend.

Great clinic! Super cool vibes and a great selection of frames. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Holden is incredible. You can tell she is very passionate about her work and very knowledgeable. I had to bring my 4 year old daughter to my eye exam and she took the time to include her (for fun) and give me a better understanding on when to bring her in for a first time eye exam! She was so patient and kind with my daughter for her first eye exam and explained in detail everything about the exam to me.

The staff were so patient and so friendly! Lori (or Laurie) was the absolute best with my 2.5 year old daughter. When we picked up her first pair of glasses the entire staff were there to encourage her! She was so excited! Thank you so much for making our first experience the best!

Lori at The Spectacle truly went above and beyond. She was an incredible problem solver and made sure I received my contact lenses in time before leaving for vacation, which was a huge relief. Her professionalism, communication, and genuine care made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. Thank you to Lori and the entire team at The Spectacle for delivering a truly world-class experience. Customer service like this is rare, and it does not go unnoticed. Highly recommend!

Very poor customer service. After spending time in the store to pick out frames, I called a few days later to ask a follow up insurance question. The woman I spoke to said "this is why we prefer people coming into the store instead of asking questions on the phone because it's easier to explain insurance in person". Which she was still able to explain over the phone, so that comment was rude, unnecessary and dismissive of the fact I had already been in the store. In a separate situation weeks later, their lab broke my frames. I understand this can happen and while its disappointing, I wasn't mad that they broke. What I was bothered by was the store's response and attitude about it. They were flippant, unapologetic and gave me "options" that didn't help me at all. They were not focused on me, the customer, in any way. Other optical stores in the area are very customer service focused and trustworthy to make things right when mistakes happen. Be Spectacled doesn't seem to care about the customer or make them feel valued. Good frame selection, but don't expect good service.

Truly the best eye care place I've ever been to. The staff is friendly, doc is wonderful, and their whole space is so vibey and aesthetic!! They're so gracious; I got my appointment time wrong and they were still able to make it work for me. I an so grateful, they are the best!!!

My wife and then I came here based on recommendations by multiple ophthalmologists at Froedtert. It's a beautiful space and they have a sophisticated array of frame selections. But the best part of the experience was the staff and their dedication to making sure your glasses look good, feel comfortable and of course work properly. In my case, we needed various modifications. They patiently worked through it all with me and made sure I was happy in the end. Outstanding experience.

Google won't let me rate Be Spectacled with 6 stars so I have to settle for 5. No seriously, I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my eye care! The environment is calm and relaxing and everyone I had contact with from walking in the door were amazing. Very nice and friendly in a personable way that made you feel right at home. Dr Holden is brilliant! You can tell she is passionate about the work she is doing and it shows through your experience with her. Not only is superb at what she does, incredibly knowledgeable, but she also is an excellent communicator and felt like I was informed through the whole exam about what she was testing for and how my eye health was looking. I felt like I left there with an increased knowledge of my overall eye health. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!
