My eye Dr at Albany eye care recommended I get Cataract surgery and got an appointment for me August 12 2025. I went and got all my tests done, no phone call for surgery all of August, September came around so I called and left a msg for Teresa letting her know I needed to see about my surgery because I would not have service out camping. NO CALL BACK. I called when we got back camping left another msg. I called beginning of October left another msg with Teresa, NO CALL back again. I waited another week then called my eye Dr at Albany, they called Cheyenne and I finally got a call back to schedule my appointment for surgery. Teresa told me the Anesthesia Department lost my paperwork, that's all & good but why didn't she get back to me when I left multiple msg. I finally had 1 surgery the end of October and the beginning of November, Dr Smitts has a great bedside manner, he made the surgery very relaxing.
BEWARE they charge $80.00 for an eye exam, NOT part of what Medicare pays for cataract surgery, but they do the refraction test anyway, and they won't give you the prescription???
They cancel appointments without notice, the front office is RUDE and CONDESCENDING.
PLEASE do not let parents go here, they are very deceptive and only worry about how many patients the can PUSH through in a day.
So sad how far the customer service has gone down within just a few years. My elderly mother has been coming here for over 20 years. Her last exam she was told she could have her prescription to get her glasses unless she paid an additional $85 for the piece of paper she already paid for the exam. What is happening with the scamming of our oldest community members. Cheyenne eye clinic please do better people count on you. So broken hearted for my mother.
Dr. Miller and her entire staff was amazing, very polite and kind. Really impressed on how they treat their patients and families. Thank You
I am not a patient. I have never been a patient. There is no reason my phone number should be in their computer system, and there is no reason i should be receiving calls from their office.I am being harassed by an employee of the cheyenne Eye clinic. I blocked her on my phone. She started harassing me on Facebook. I blocked her there. She began harassing me through emails, so i had to block her from that as well. In response, she began harassing me from the cheyenne eye clinics company phone. I contacted management, they verified the call, but they refused to do anything about it and said they couldn't prove that she was harassing me. So the next time you are waiting for an extended period of time for your appointment or when they screw up something you can bet it's because the employees are busy harassing innocent people using the company's means. Do not use the cheyenne Eye Clinic for your eye care needs. The management obviously doesn't care about anything that goes on in the building or with company property. Extremely unprofessional.
Update - as you can see from the response below, they pretended to care, but they did not even include a phone number to provide assistance. If they don't care about their employees' misuse of company assets, they certainly don't care about you or your health and safety.

Today we had an appointment at Cheyenne Eye Clinic. This was the third time trying to see a doctor. Dr. Hubbard left at the first of this year. My husband was rescheduled with Dr. Cooper in May. When we showed up, we were told Cooper also left. We rescheduled for today with Dr. Smits at 9:40 a.m. At 10:10 a.m., we were told Glenn Hager was next. 3 more people were taken back ahead of us. We had to reschedule after waiting 45 minutes past our appointment time. First available was January. We will be finding another eye clinic. Very irritated, disappointed, and quite frankly feeling discriminated againt as Glenn uses a wheelchair.
The worst clinic I've been to. They mess up appointments, the doctors (Cotton specifically) are unqualified and rude. I ended up visiting them twice last year because they were not able to renew my prescription that worked perfectly fine and kept changing it to something that doesn't. A year later I got a bill to pay for the second visit (which didn't change anything, I still had to go to a different clinic to get a proper prescription). Never coming back there, neither are my friends and family.
It was wonderful! I was wanting to have my eyes taken care of on Wednesday's because my husband was off those days. I was told that Dr. Miller would be the surgeon taking care of me. It made me a bit nervous because I had never met Dr. Miller. Also, a reason I hadn't shared with anyone at the clinic. My dad had eye surgery on his left eye years ago. He lives in California and saw a very reputable surgeon. But a mistake was made during the operation and my dad was blinded in his left eye. Well, the day came and Dr. Miller approached me as I sat in the chair and spoke to me and I immediately felt at peace. Her demeanor spoke perfection. Her mannerism was majestic. Dr. Miller walked on water as far as I'm concerned during both surgeries. We talked and laughed about what was going on. She did her own follow ups. Dr. Miller is an amazing woman a woman of excellence that exemplifies nothing less.
