Albany Eye Care

I have been a patient with Albany for years, the Drs are the best, I feel like they really care about what I'm going through with my floaters & double vision, Dr Tolman is very patient and Knowledgeable trying different things to help. The staff are also very friendly and call me back right away whenever I call. I definitely recommend Albany eye care

Dr. Piepers and his staff are amazing. Friendly and knowledgeable. They are up to date on everything happening in their profession and have cutting edge technologies. The office staff offer some of the best customer service I have experienced, and I have been around customer service throughout my career. Thank you guys and keep up the good work!

Dr. Piepers and his staff are heads and shoulders above any optometrist I've ever seen. He is an incredibly skilled optometrist, his staff is exceptional. The office staff goes above any beyond to be helpful and all are extremely knowledgeable. The optical department is well stocked and has a great selection, the optical techs are well trained and very skilled. My family is so happy and very glad we found this great practice!

Dr. Tolman and everyone at Albany Eye Care are such a joy! Each time I come in every single staff member is genuinely friendly and warm. They intentionally slow down and take the extra time to make sure I am completely taken care of, have everything I need, and all of my questions are answered. I know they are actually caring for my best interests above everything else and it's so refreshing to have a doctor I know I can trust to treat me as a whole person and not only a patient. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Overall my experience has been good here. I've only ever had two basic yearly exams and do not wear glasses, so I am an easy patient. The optometrist has been knowledgeable and friendly and the staff is friendly. My only--admittedly petty--critique of them as a business is that for my last appointment I was scheduled for a 0800 appointment and nobody even showed up to the building until 0800, so I ended up waiting around for them to unlock the building and turn on their computers. It seemed a bit unprofessional and I think it could be worth it for them to show up to work at least 10 minutes before their first appointment as a professional courtesy to people who are on time for appointments.

I have been very impressed with Dr. Tolman's approach to helping my family with all of our vision issues. He has done an amazing job with all of our eye care needs including glasses and contacts. I always schedule our family appointments the same day and we are in and out of the office in no time, even with picking out glasses! My family is seeing better than we ever have. I love how friendly, caring and professional the entire office staff is, our family highly recommends this clinic.

Both our kids had eye exams with Dr. Piepers. He was great! The staff was ready for us at our appointment time and had given us the information to have the paper work filled out before hand. Our youngest needed glasses and we tried on several pairs there. She found a pair she loved somewhere else and they forwarded the prescription so we could have them ordered. I was worried they would fight about that but they didn't. Kids and parents had a great experience!

Everyone at this office is friendly, and I never have to wait very long for my appointment. I see Dr. King and my husband goes to Dr. Pieper. Both of us are thrilled with the care. My mother also went to Dr. King when she was very nervous about her vision after having a brain tumor removed - she could not say enough about how much he calmed her fears. I am a very loyal patient!
