Let's start with my apt was at 10:30 am and they didn't start my apt until 10:45 and then I found out there was still one person a head of me not including the person with the doctor. When I said something they gal starting my exam stated "that just happens sometimes". So it's supposed to be okay for a doctor to run 45 mins to an hour behind? We walked out. I will not be expected to accept that kind of practice. 15 mins sure, things happen but nearly an hour with no discussion? Nope. We drove two hours for our apts. the hole experience was disrespectful.

My wife made an appointment for me to go in before Christmas. I saw Dr Robert. He was very down to earth and made recommendations on what I should get looked at considering I have diabetes. I did not feel pressured to buy anything or get unnecessary things done. I would highly recommend. The other staff helped me pick out glasses that fit my needs. Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable. I feel like I found a true place that cares about me. That is very hard to find these days.

Just want to start by saying the optometrist who helped me was very personable, professional, and and knowledgeable. The technician who helped me was kind and put forth effort.
They being said, Walmart is an exploitative corporation that keeps this vision center understaffed and their staff (the technicians) undertrained.
The technician who helped me was very kind, but not well versed in the use of the machines. He didn't even seem sure whether I was to wear my glasses or not for a given machine. If Walmart spins this on their employees, then *(fill in the blank)* them. This is a matter of training and properly staffing a center, not the quality of their employees.
At the end of my visit, I was told that my appointment may cost $50, maybe $70, or maybe more. The tech was unable to find out the specifics of my insurance, leaving me questioning the cost of the exam.
All in all, I recommend Walmart make changes to their vision center to make it a place of legitimate healthcare, instead of a place to further exploit customers and their employees.

Website should say they don't do exams. Laramie location hasn't had an optometrist since last April. It's a remote area and people may actually drive over an hour to find this out. Thought I'd give a heads up you might want to check first.

Wouldn't even fix glasses without a written prescription. Saw my brother's broken glasses and claimed they were fine. Rude and unhelpful, didn't seem to want us to make an appointment even.

Avoid this place at all costs. The manager broke my frames while putting new lenses in and claimed that she wasn't responsible. After complaining to the corporate office, I was told to take a receipt in to be reimbursed for the replacement cost. did exactly that and never heard another word. Follow up calls have all gone unanswered.
