While the treatment plan with LAL is a bit longer, I'm incredibly happy I chose it -- the results have been nothing short of amazing. I can now read the fine print on pill bottles with ease, and my distance vision is 20/15. Even more impressive is my nighttime vision -- no halos or glare around lights, which was a major concern for me going in. The clarity is phenomenal. For context, I had PRK surgery at age 32 and enjoyed 15 years of sharp 20/15 vision before my near vision began to decline. I received right and left Light Adjustable Lens cataract replacements. I am now seeing as clearly as I did when I was a teenager! I am 78 and have worn glasses for nearly four decades. He has completely changed my life! I had a lens replacement to correct a cataract and chose to pay for an upgraded lens to correct my astigmatism. 24 hrs post surgery, I could see 20/20. I have the other eye scheduled for next week. I'm so excited. Dr. Sabastian Heersink is very attentive and explains everything. Dr. Moring, who works with him is also very knowledgeable and pleasant. The entire facility, including the Eye Center and the Surgery Center, is very clean, organized and beautifully decorated. All employees are pleasant and seem to really enjoy their jobs. Even though it's a large facility, I did not feel like a number. Plan for long visits because there is a lot of testing to be done. This is one the best decisions with my health that I've ever made.

Some may say that the wait times Are a bit long, but honestly the team At Eye Center south are working around the clock and I would rather spend a little more time waiting on Perfection, then rush on something as important as the eyes. I recently had pterygium removed from my eye and the entire experience at Eye Center South could not have been better. I was greeted pleasantly and completed the sign in quickly. Several preoperation evaluations were performed efficiently and with helpful explanations.
