Hands down the best experience I have EVER had getting a new eye exam and glasses. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted and within moments, I was in the back getting the exam. It was super fast and the selection of glasses in my price range was pretty large. Mya helped me through the checking out process and she and the other young lady that were in there were absolutely amazing people! Great personality and they were able to stay within my budget. I greatly appreciate them answering my questions and helping me understand everything I was confused about: just a great experience, would 1000000000% recommend.

1st time visiting this place. I was helped by Lakesha, she made the process a pleasure and painless. Forgive me but the reddest red haired lady I've seen all week that works there completed my eye exam and I can truly say she's a gem. They both deserve a raise in my eyes. All staff were professional and greeted me upon arrival.

My eye care experience was great at this location! I was greeted with warm welcoming vibes! Mya and LaKesha were both awesome with getting my needs met. LaKesha was very knowledgeable about my insurance and what my cost would be. Mya took great care of me with my eye exam. She was knowledgeable and gentle. She showed immaculate patience and her assistance with me looking for the perfect frames were perfect! She gave her honest opinion on ones I selected that did not look good on me and that was grand! I was very appreciative of her honesty. During the virtual exam, it was just as if the doctor was in the room! That was my first experience with a hybrid appointment. The eye exam was very thorough and complete. It was a half telecast and half physical examination and it was the best! Actually, better than my past eye exams! The doctor, even though he was virtual, was very patient and understanding about my eye exam concerns. Thank you Stanton Optical for a great visit!

It literally took my wide over an hour for her appointment, understood. Then I was asked do I want to gp ahead and do my pre-screening, with twins. I said I'll wait till my wife return that way there's no distractions. We'll my wife returned and then had to be shown frames. Ok, I waited. Nexted a lady walks in for repairs and I continued to wait. Next some guy comes in and he's taken care of and it was explained to me that I had the opportunity to gp but chose to wait for my wife to finish her exam. Well that's what a responsible parent would do. Then we find out that what was being explained to us was that we weren't in network coming there. Which is why we had a $25 copay. The words "your insurance isn't in network" were never used. My wife said she never heard it either. Then she tells me that the optometrist who is virtually doing eye exams is extremely rude. It's safe to say that eyecare in the Wiregrass is diminishing with all the facilities losing optometrist.

When I tell you Iyana had my glasses in less than an hour after loosing mine on the plane!! She helped me with getting my prescription transfered super fast! This dream team along with the gentlemen and Lakesha did not play and they made sure it was within my budget! They had me smiling and laughing and really helped ease my worries about wondering around with no glasses! Thank you so much I have 2 pair extra now because the deals and service is THAT GOOD!

I was a little hesitant to visit Stanton because of the mixed reviews, but I'm SO glad I decided to stop by. I came in for a second opinion on a glasses prescription I had received the week before from a larger eye office in town that I didn't feel confident about. Matthew, the eye tech, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, and really took the time to listen to all of my questions and concerns. He spent far more time with me than the previous office and made sure my prescription was truly dialed in and accurate. He explained what all the numbers meant, how the eye works, and took the time to answer questions I had asked at the other office where I felt a bit brushed off. You can tell Matthew really has an *eye* for the details. I left feeling informed, reassured, and confident in my prescription. I'll definitely be back next year for my next annual exam!

I don't give 5 stars, ever. With that said, I was very pleased with my visit. I had an appointment scheduled with Vision Center South. They informed me when I came for appointment that they no longer took my insurance and asked if I was ok being self pay. I left completely upset. I googled for eye dr near by and Stanton Optical came up. I could tell when they answered the phone it was a call center. The guy was able to verify they were a provider for insurance and I got appointment that same afternoon. The eye exam, choosing the frames, and "extras" was seamless. They took their time digging into my insurance and discounts to get the lowest cost possible. I wear progressive lenses and have to have extra coating and tinting. Waiting 2 weeks for progressive lenses is standard so I don't mind. However, he did say he could do single vision lenses in about an hour. I was impressed. I haven't received my glasses yet. Hopeful they will be great.
