Went there a year ago and it was an okay experience. The doc was good. The people on the floor are salespeople. They want to sell you every bell and whistle you can add to glasses. They added progressives to my glasses script when all I wanted were computer/reading glasses. A bit of a miss. A big selection of frames, which was nice. Here we are a year later, I tried to make an appointment, I left a detailed message a week ago and no call back. I called again this week and briefly spoke with someone, and she put me on hold for a good 10-15 minutes, and I finally gave up. I called somewhere else and was able to get ahold of a live person and make an appointment. Why is it so hard to talk to a human and make an appointment at Florence Eye Center? The British automated attendant and I have become very tight. She's weirdly unexpected.

I'm not sure what happened because I previously recommended Florence Eye Center to everyone. Lately, no one answers the phone or calls back. It doesn't matter how many times you call or how urgent the situation is. After weeks of calling, a receptionist did answer and could not give a straight answer for simple questions. Referrals were never sent and when inquired upon where the referral was being sent to, that information could not be disclosed.
I am really dissatisfied and even disappointed in the lack of urgency for what is an urgent situation. I'm even more dissatisfied to see that my review is not the only review that addresses these concerns. In addition to the numerous complaints, the inappropriate correspondence from Florence Eye Center is embarrassing and depicts a lack of professional competency.

Went there couple years ago. The eye exam was good. The glasses a little high. Went back for recheck no one told me til I get there for appt. that they no longer carry my insurance. Sure would had been nice to know since I drove almost an hour away. Need to do a lot better job front.

I've been waiting 9 weeks for my replacement glasses. Every time I call I get the run around with different excuses. Every single person I speak to has a different story. I do not recommend going here at all.

They do not answer the phone! I have been trying to get my daughter referred to see a specialist for months and found out they never sent the referral over.. it has been 4 months. I have been trying to call for weeks and today I got through but was put back on hold for 20 mins and then hung up on. Completely incompetent and unprofessional. Nobody had an answer as to why the referral was never forwarded. Do NOT use them. They used to be a good business but not anymore.

Will not answer the phone no matter when you call them. Can't repair broken lenses when other places can. Will try and screw you over to take your money any chance they get. Do not do your business here, and try anywhere else

Wide selection of glasses. Very fancy decor and a coffee bar that would make Juan Valdez proud. My daughter forgot her contacts back at college and these nice folks gave her a few pairs to hold her she got back to school.
