I started going here 6 years - loved the doctor who ran the facility but it was a little run down but I liked the care shown to me. I had an eye issue for a time and couldn't get with him because he was in the process of retiring and went to the Gadsden Eye Specialist. In the meantime, Dr. Johnson purchased all locations and updated the Rainbow City/ Gadsden facility. One of my glasses had broken and they got the situation resolved. They are very customer service driven and this is because of the quality management of Dr. Michael Johnson. He and his staff are kind, courteous and always make it right. I have my whole family go here. I trust them and highly recommend them.

Dr. Johnson is the best around. Highly highly highly recommend. I grew up with terrible eyesight and when my optometrist for over 20 years retired I was nervous to go somewhere else. Dr. Johnson made me feel super comfortable and I'm thankful to have switched here.

George Gruver is no longer here. This place told me I had to have a new prescription to new lens per their office. I told I do not have to have new prescription for lens I see ok with. So, to me they were in the business to make money because I have no insurance for optical. I just just need new lens. So I recommend going somewhere else that cares about the person and not the money. Still using George Gruver's name though instead standing on their own merit. Go somewhere else. I am.

Went to look at getting safety glasses provided by my work. The document I needed was not signed in all the proper places. I was not aware as it was filled out for me. I was told "that's not gonna fly" and "I don't know why they do that, we've told them." They were absolutely rude and disrespectful. They need to be trained on how to talk more respectfully to customers rather than sound so ugly. I will not get safety glasses there even with work buying them for me. Ridiculous!

I really like the people I dealt with they were very nice. Dr Johnson was very nice and I approve of him as a very good eye Dr. It didn't take long to get an app.

The receptionist at the front counter is super rude. She seems to think she's better than people who come in. I came in to get paperwork on my wife's prescription and she acted like it was a labor intensive job to help me.

Unprofessional, wouldn't answer questions on even prices. Completely blew me off. I would give negative stars if I could.

Ordered safety glasses 4 weeks ago They said oh they are at lab So sorry for inconvenience Everyone else has same glasses in 3 to 4 days Wrong place to get glasses Ill go somewhere else
