Eyecare Associates in Hoover always does an excellent job, from Lela in the front office to Dr. Hammonds in the exam room, this is a top-notch organization. I trust them and they always work to help me get the best deal with insurance. Highly recommended!

I had such a great eye exam today, saw Dr. Curtis. He is very knowledgeable and let me know that I have some Dry eyes going on that I had no clue about. He was also willing to help pick some glasses out for me. This place and all of their staff were wonderful from the beginning to the end of the appointment. Katie was a fabulous technician that worked my appointment up before the Doctor came in. If you need glasses Cameron is the BEST!! I never once felt rushed or looked at the wrong way for taking so long. Also, got the best deal for the money.

I've been coming here for years, and every visit is a great experience. Dr. Hammond is knowledgeable, caring, and genuinely invested in her patients, and her staff is just as wonderful. They make appointments easy and always go above and beyond. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my eye care!

This was my first visit. Everyone was fantastic. Katie and Dr. White took great care of me and took the time to answer all my questions. Thanks to everyone that helped make my experience so pleasant.

This group is the most professional of any I have seen anywhere. Everything runs like a fine tuned watch. They know what they're doing and how to do it. I would not consider going anywhere but ECA with Dr. Hammonds. If you want to go first class, this is the place to find it.

Dr Hammonds is a very caring, knowledgeable person. She takes her time and clearly explains things. I highly recommend her and EyeCare Associates.

Firstly Dr Hammonds is the very best eye doctor and worthy of high praise. However, whomever is in charge of the new office management team in the Hoover location should reconsider their profession choice and go into the time share business. My last visit on 11/11/2025 after thirty years of seeing the same doctor was my last visit. I will never return due to the incompetent nature of the unprofessional business practices of the current staff. I am in the retail business for 30 plus years and if I ran off long time customers they way these folks did me then I would not have been able to stay in business. I see the future of this place going down hill as they are obviously run and managed by vultures that are heartless in what is supposed to be eye care. They need to change the name to dollarcare associates because they only care about the money and not taking care of the customer. I still have not received a call from Matthew the office manager in regards to my issue. I will not return for service and I recommend anyone else not go for the first time.
