My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Lewis for years. We like the whole office staff as well. They are all very kind and helpful.

I honestly can't say enough good things about Dr. Bacon and the entire team at Family Optometry. From the moment we walked through the door, it felt like we were with friends, not just patients. I have hard contacts. Which nowadays is a lost art in the eye dr world, but Dr. Bacon has the expertise and gets my prescription just right. My eyes use to get tired at the end of the day of wearing them. I thought that was normal. Well it's not. He took the time to figure out what was going on and I am so happy. What really stands out is how genuinely caring everyone is. The staff is so friendly, always going above and beyond to make sure we're taken care of. I never feel like just another patient here - it's clear that they truly care about the well-being of our whole family. We've been coming here for a few years now and each visit reminds me why we trust Family Optometry. Thank you all!

It's taken me over a year to feel comfortable enough to leave a review on my experience. My main doctor from a different office had found after testing that I have a binocular issue. He pulled the name of this place from a hat as specialist for BD's are hard to find. I was seen by the Dr. Lewis, the son. After the first five minutes I was told my vision issues are anxiety. I was absolutely defeated and mortified. I paid $200 to be told I have anxiety and it was suggested to me to get counseling. A year later and no improvements I've seen my original doctor who was displeased to say the least at what I was told and their colleague referred me to Accent Eye Care. After thorough testing, I was found to not only have a binocular disorder but a convergence issue as well. If you have a binocular disorder, I would not recommend this office, there are doctors with much more experience and knowledge on the matter who will listen to you and have the necessary equipment to do a proper diagnosis opposed to following a small ball at the end of a retractable stick.

We had an excellent experience with Dr. Dan Lewis. He was amazing with both our boys (age 6 and 4). He took the time to explain each diagnosis clearly and was very helpful getting a prescription and plan in place to help their vision. Would definitely recommend him for anyone with young kids.

Going beyond traditional optometry, Dr Lewis also whole body & behavioral influences on vision, perception & function. That makes a HUGE positive difference in your brain, not just your eyes. From kids with "learning & behavioral disabilities" to elders like me improving eyesight with vision therapy, this place is very special and provides superior care and service!

I don't go here for annual eye exams, I go here strictly for eye therapy!!! Please keep that in mind as you read this review!! Dr. Lewis is the first optometrist I've seen that caught my weird eye condition, which stemmed from an undocumented concussion. He made me feel seen and heard, even my mom cried lol. I attend the weekly eye therapy program under a scholarship (which they do offer rarely from what I've heard, and I have no ties to the owner). The eye therapy works!! You HAVE to practice nightly at home though to see any results, just like anything else you want to progress in. Highly recommend this place, but it is pricy as it's not covered under any insurance.

BEST OPTOMETRIST OF COUNTLESS IVE BEEN TOO :) i absolutely love it here! my experience was great. they have outstanding expertise and are truly supportive of patients. doctors educated me thoroughly as a patient and were completely transparency/honest through it all. they don't waste patient time or money, they actually go out of their way to save patients considerable money. my intake was a little rushed and sloppy, but i plan to become a loyal patient here

Not only did I have to pay almost $350 for an eye exam for my daughter, but when requesting a report of her vision and eye condition the office diagnosed her with, it's taken over a week and much hassle to get it. The receptionist I originally spoke with was extremely rude and questioning why I needed the report. First, it's a document on my child. Second, the state is willing to provide services to support her vision but needs the diagnosis before adding it to her service plan. The second receptionist I spoke with (because yes I've have had to call everyday for 3 days and still don't have a report), was very nice. However; she notified me I would have the eval report (the was done at the end of April with a follow up in early June) until next week. Completely dissatisfied.
