Dr. Lam was recommended to me by a coworker. I first scheduled an appointment with her at a very dark time in my life. I had just gotten off of Ortho K contact lenses and needed a completely new prescription. It was Dr. Lam and her team that helped me to see life for what it truly was. Because of Ortho K, it was my first time ever dealing with the complexities of astigmatism and extremely dry eyes. Because of my anxiety triggered Type A personality, I had 1000 concerns and questions that my mom would have hit me for for being annoying; Dr. Lam angelically addressed 2000 more. She patiently sat with me and guided me through every single possible facet affecting my vision, expressing complex medical terminology into ideas that I could understand as an ordinary citizen. My prescription was helpfully measured and confirmed no less than 4 times. Her optical tools are amazing. Every single member of her staff is efficient, friendly, and considerate. Dr. Lam is THAT Doctor. May this kind of Doctor find us all in our blindest moments, in every city, in every stage of our life. May Dr. Lam's schedules always be fully booked. Almost makes me want to quit my job and become an optometrist myself! Thanks Dr!

Dr. Parkins was amazing! She was incredibly thorough during my eye exam and really took her time with everything. I appreciate that she double checked my previous prescription before finalizing a new one and even referred me to an eye therapist due to a condition I'm dealing with. I left feeling genuinely hopeful that I'll finally be able to see more clearly with the prescription she's putting together for me. I'm actually excited to go back and pick out some new glasses! I was able to make a same day appointment. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The doctor is currently working with me to find the best fit for contact lenses. I will be telling friends and family about Refocus.

Everyone that works here has a good attitude and did not hesitate to help me with all that i needed. I was not looking forward to driving from glendale for this eye exam. After the exam was complete; I've never been more satisfied with an optometrist. The entire team is very respectful and thorough.
