The management at this location has changed within the past two years, and unfortunately the difference in service has been very noticeable. This used to be a smoothly run Nationwide Vision office with strong, attentive management. The staff was knowledgeable, efficient, and communication was excellent.
Since the change in management, the experience has declined significantly. The office no longer seems organized or efficient, and the staff often appears unprofessional and disengaged. In the past, when my glasses arrived I would receive both a call and a text notification. That communication no longer happens.
Recently I scheduled three appointments for my family and had text message confirmations as proof. However, when we arrived, the office staff said they could only see one appointment in their new system and refused to see all three of us. This caused a major inconvenience, especially since I had driven a long distance for the appointments.
We also spent about $340 on three pairs of glasses, so I expected a much higher level of service and care. Despite the issue clearly being on their end, no effort was made to accommodate us, offer support, or provide any form of consideration for the inconvenience.
The doctor is decent, but the office staff's lack of professionalism, poor communication, and ineffective scheduling system make this location difficult to recommend. Based on our experience since the management change, I would not recommend this location.
What a great experience! The front desk staff were very accommodating. The pre exam tech was very professional and made the experience comfortable. The doctor was great. He listened, provided feedback and answered all questions. I will be back! Apt was 11/25/2025.
Ordered three pair of glasses, two for my husband and one for me. His OSHA safety glasses came back in under two weeks even with bifocals. His every day pair has now been "lost in the mail" three times! Mine were so warped the lenses barely stayed in. Reordered twice.... Still don't have them!!!!!!! This has been going on for two months. I've been wearing glasses for nearly 50 years and have NEVER had this much trouble!
I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Nationwide Vision. I went in expecting a simple eye exam using my Aetna vision plan, only to be told they "don't support it"--even though my plan is not out of network. The staff offered no real explanation, no effort to verify benefits properly, and no alternative solutions. It felt like they were either poorly trained or simply unwilling to help.
The lack of transparency, professionalism, and customer care was unbelievable. I left without receiving service and with the impression that customer insurance concerns are dismissed as an inconvenience rather than handled with the attention they deserve.
I will not be returning, and I recommend that anyone with Aetna or who expects basic competence with insurance look elsewhere. This experience was a complete waste of time.
Went in to get glasses since it's been such a long time I've had a eye exam, I was greated by a sweet and helpful receptionist and the manager helped me with understanding what the doctor Recommended for my eyes! It's been the smoothest and easiest experience with getting glasses and eye exam
If I could rate a 0 I would of 5 months. Ago terrible customer service, if you need answers about your pending order they won't have it. Save your time and go somewhere else. It's been 5 months I've been trying to get my prescribed safety glasses for work and after calling and going in multiple times nobody can give me an answer. And ask for my number every time and never call back or get any real information. Trust me I've never had such bad customer service than here. Very disappointed.
Been coming here for years. Today's experience was different. I had changes in my prescription and felt heard concerning my immediate needs. No over selling just paid for what I needed. Great selection on glasses. Thank you.
Great place to shop if you need glasses. My daughter glasses broke and she needed an eye exam. The staff were able to schedule her appointment and get her in next day. She is getting a new pair of glasses so she can see again. I would recommend this place.
