I had a great experience at Rummel Eye Care today. I was a new patient and it took me about 2 months to get in but it was so worth it. Everyone was kind, efficient, and I was in and out of there in less than 45 minutes. They didn't try to sell me new glasses or push me into buying contacts from them! They offered up both my new contact and glasses prescription without me having to ask. It was just an all around wonderful experience.

We've been going to Rummel since we moved to Prescott Valley Arizona 7 years ago, and we absolutely trust them exclusively. I needed eye surgery and I was nervous, but they made it so easy to relax. Dr. Mark Rummel was my surgeon, really great guy. I trust them with my eyes and would recommend Rummel hands down.

Doctor Mark Rummel was absolutely the most knowledgeable, thorough, kind, attentive eye doctor I have ever worked with. I trust him completely and am so pleased to have discovered him and his office. It's a family business and you can really feel that in the level of care. I recommend Doctor Mark completely.

I could not have had a better experience with Dr. Robert Rummel and his associates, at the Prescott Valley location. The office environment was relaxing; the employees were friendly and helpful, and I walked away more knowledgeable about my personal eye issues. Thank you everyone! See you next time.

The office staff are quite friendly. Beware of the billing department they will tell you that your insurance won't cover a procedure without even sending it to the insurance company to see if they will or not. I asked the billing staffer why my bill had self-pay written on it because I have insurance. I was told they had a new system, and I should pay the bill. I then called the insurance company to find out why they would not cover it. They said they had not ever received it. Not a good office policy! Second problem one might encounter with Rummel Eye Care is the lack of compliance with promises, is nonexistent. I was told by multiple staffers that I would be told what the out-of-pocket expenses would be. This must mean to them that as long as they tell you five minutes before the procedure, they have complied with their written sales literature. Because they do not tell you one incurs cost of for EKG, visit to cardiologist, Blood Work, permission from primary care doctor. After all these costs they still cannot tell you what your out-of-pocket cost will be. I had heard good things about Rummel Eye. I did not experience this. I was lied to by billing and everyone that said I would have out of pocket cost. Beware!!!!

Just went in for a yearly eye exam. The office staff are professional yet friendly. The medical assistants seemed well trained in their procedures. Dr. Mark Rummel is thorough in his examination, and is more than willing to answer my questions or concerns. Plus he is a very nice guy. I wish all professional offices displayed this level of excellence.

The doctors are experienced and knowledgeable, as are most of the staff. I feel some concern about the billing. I called to ask about needing authorization and was told that insurance would cover it unless I needed a refraction then it would be 40 out of pocket. When leaving I got a statement for $282 less the 40 I paid. I could not get a clear answer if I would be billed for the balance if insurance didn't pay. We'll see. If there are issues with billing - courtesy won't mean much.

I've not been seen by Dr. Rummel before. But I became concerned about something new I noticed with my vision. They squeezed me into their schedule same day. This was a very pleasant surprise to me because I had called my primary care doctor previously for a separate urgent issue and they couldn't take me. I really felt they my well being was utmost in their concern. They worked on getting me a prompt appointment in Phoenix with a Retina specialist. Thankfully, all is well. The good news is I have a great eye doctor in Dr. Rummel and Dr. Rummel, and not to mention their other brother, Dr. Rummel.
