Willer Optometry

We've only been to this optometrist in costco. Today was our 2nd visit. Background: During our 1st we were asked if we wanted to do a retina scan and we agreed. We paid for the exams at that visit but come to find out the machine was broken. Present day we had brought in our old receipts and tried to talk to one of the front desk staff abt the situation and it was painful. The lady was very short, rude and condescending. Not even looking at the paperwork I brought in to discuss just cutting me off saying you were never charged, we played a voicemail that we received Abt coming back in since we already paid. And she just kept at it. I questioned a credit and she kept saying that credit was our payment for the eye exam only. I became frustrated and eneded up walking out. I admit my fault in giving back rudeness myself and even admit that after reviewing the paperwork again, I can see I was wrong. However, I'm still writing a bad review b/c that lady could have done better to start. A little customer service goes a long way. Hell, a little kindness goes a long way. We are only 2 ppl, but they have lost business b/c of her.

Based on previous reviews I decided to book an appointment even though it meant a trip to Prescott Costco. I had a bad first impression for a new patient. I booked an appointment as a new patient and had to cancel 7 days in advance due to transportation issues. I live 40 miles away and I tried to explain. I was told whatever, thanks for canceling, then she said BYEEEE and hung up.I am not sure if what I heard was background noise from another conversation, doesn't matter it didn't make me feel good. Unfortunately they lost a new patient in the process and prompted me to post this bad review.

Dr West and Shannon are absolutely amazing. My 14 year old son wanted contacts for the first time. He struggled a lot with getting them in and out, they were unfailingly kind, patient, and accommodating. They were so happy to help and be encouraging when he was getting frustrated. Dr west gave helpful advice, listened and asked questions, and made us feel like she really cared about him (that's not something you get from most drs these days). Shannon was positive and helpful and kind, she gave great advice and really lifted my son's spirits when he was getting angry at himself during the fitting. We've been to nearly every optometry office in town and this is my favorite. The price was fair and the staff was so kind and efficient; they really went above and beyond for us and I'm very very impressed.

Best optometrist I've ever had. Very caring and understanding, decent prices, and great atmosphere. I've had problems with my eyes for years and Dr. Willard always is able to help me out.

I've been to many Optometrists over the years and Dr Willer is among the most patient, knowledgable, and helpful. I'm not the easiest vision case but Dr W went out of his way to over-deliver. If I'm in the area next year I'll definitely go back. My wife also visits his associate Dr West at Costco and again 5 glowing stars. The receptionist can be a little short and overwhelmed at times but all in all this is a quality office I would highly recommend.

8/03/22-COSTCO-Dr. Willer Optometry-Apologize for the delay in this review. For it not for Dr. Willer & Shannon's quick response and ability to get me in to take pictures of eyes I may have gone blind, due to the discovery of a Detached Retina. Not only were they awesome, professional and very nice, but they got me in right away and were able to refer me to Premier Eye Center in Prescott the next day, which also was another step to prevent me from going blind, now over 3 months later I'm STILL so grateful for their actions.

Super friendly and convenient optometrist! Dr. Willer is so patient and kind. Shannon is also so wonderful!

Incredibly impressed with this office. Front office staff are super friendly and wonderful to talk to and the doctor is amazing. Highly recommend!
