The staff was very nice. I was given several preliminary exams by the tech that included a glaucoma test, update of medical history and prescription meds. There were two more tests before my vision prescription session. I was in the clinic two years ago for a procedure on my eyelid, but this is my first experience getting a vision test here. I will choose this clinic again next year.

My frame for my glasses broke and everywhere in town didn't want to give me a new frame they wanted to give me a new exam, prescription, all the bells and whistles and wanted to charge an arm, leg, and soul since I don't have vision insurance..... Everyone except for Edgar and Cochise Eye and Laser... from the second I walked in Edgar went above and beyond to not only help me find frames that would fit my current lens, but then made sure they'd actually fit, and took the best care of my glasses I've ever seen, he spent over 30 Minutes looking for the right frame so I could actually see, this is the only place I went to that I genuinely felt like they cared more about the person than the paycheck, People need to see and they get that there, if it wasn't for Edgar I'd be blind as a bat right now. That guy needs a raise, or a bonus, or both tbh. I'll never go anywhere else again

My 87 year old mother had an appt there that they have for here every year. Today after an hour and a half she was still waiting as others went ahead of her ! She said I have an appt and the girl at the desk made excuses. Won't go back because what is the point of having an appt if they don't give you a place and time to be seen and keep their part of the appt !

I've purchased four pair of glasses at Cochise, Eye and Laser, but had not done so lately, not since 2020. I went back this time and found it profoundly changed. The exam was rushed and sloppy in my view and resulted in an incorrect prescription. The two pair of glasses I hoped to get were unusable. I asked for and got a refund. But this was not before the sales technician tried to convince me I was not seeing what I was seeing, and coerce me into walking out with the unusable glasses. I went to Lenscrafters in Tucson (see my Lenscrafters review). Their prescription was entirely different! Their equipment was more modern and of better quality, from what I could tell. Going to Cochise resulted in a waste of time and money. I will not go back again

Arrived early for a 10:15 appt. Receptionists were curt, and I felt they wanted to get me away from their check-in desk asap. I asked why it felt as though they were so stressed. Was told "it's been a day already". After this exchange, the pace to get me checked in felt a little friendlier. While waiting I also heard the receptionists calling insurance companies in addition to making appointments, answering phones, checking in clients, -- this is waaaay too much for one staff member to do. I feel the receptionists are spread too thin. Perhaps the facility would consider hiring additional staff -- an insurance verifier may help take some of the work load off the receptionists. This may alleviate some of their stress so they can offer a friendly reception. After sitting in the waiting room until after my appointment time, I was eventually called back and received a preliminary exam by the tech -- glaucoma test, medical history questions, etc. I was then escorted back to waiting room and told the Dr would see me when avail. At 11:00 I still had not seen the doctor. Being in the middle of my workday, I was unable to spend more time waiting. I went up to reception and told them my concern. I was told it was typical for an appointment to take 1 to 1.5 hours. Why do they schedule this way then? This is not efficient use of the customers' time if this is the case. Also, if I had been told this at the time I made the appointment, I would have opted to go elsewhere. I attempted to reschedule on a day I had off from work. However, the next available Monday (Mondays are my day off) wasn't available until February of next year. Today is 5/8/25. I cancelled my appt and left. Later, I attempted to call the and speak to the office manager to offer feedback. The phone tree did not allow an option for that. Perhaps my option would have been to go through reception to get to the office manager. Reception was already stressed when I was there. I did not feel this was an option that would get anywhere fast. So, hopefully someone reads this review and takes the feedback as opportunity for improvement. The office has a sign posted on the front door and throughout the facility -- a sign stating they respect us and we should reciprocate that respect. I did not feel as though I, nor my time was respected. I also am curious as to why they felt it was necessary to print out that signage and post it. My assumption is they're used to being called out on their inefficient use of others' time. If you have 1 to 1.5 hours to sit and wait to see the doctor, then you'll be ok here. If you have other things going and are unable to sit in the waiting room for this long, try somewhere else.

The medical side of Cochise Eye and Laser I had a great experience. The optical vision side was not a good experience. My glasses were done wrong twice and the customer service I received the last time was very poor.

I'm just going to say I was disappointed with how curt, brash, and obviously Annoyed with me that I called to make my appointment. I was surprised I wasn't told outright to Shut Up or something. Definitely Not good listeners, some remedial customer interaction training May be Necessary . It's like "I'm sorry I dared to call and Bother You"..... so now I get to feel bad for the rest of the day, Lovely .

The staff and optometrist, Dr. Lee, were all very friendly, professional and skilled. They were able to schedule an appointment and see me immediately for a serious eye issue that is effecting my vision. I will continue to use this eye doctor.
