I had an appointment scheduled for my son months in advance. I did this so we could work around his school schedule and my work schedule. I had the appointment card written by their receptionist at the time of making the appointment that said "November 27 at 9:30". I arrived early. They said they didn't have my son the schedule and couldn't get us in. I explained that we traveled a distance for this appointment and it is a waste of time and money for their mistake. Both the receptionist and business manager were the rudest people ever. I told then that we won't reschedule and will go elsewhere. (After being a client of 10 years) Then after i leave and tell them I'm going elsewhere they call to harass me about the appointment they failed to follow through with today.

What are great place, I had to have my glasses repaired as one of the nose pieces broke off and we were on our way to the gem and mineral show in Tucson. They quickly repaired my glasses at no charge, I give the service and the employees five stars

The doctor is great! It's the staff and lab that are terrible. I've gotten glasses two years in a row I cannot wear. I thought the first was a fluke and didn't make much of a fuss. They made me nauseous and dizzy. It would have been too late to do anything anyhow. When you go in for adjustment or something is wrong they string you along until you can't have them redone anyhow. The second pair was dispensed with a chipped lens that I didn't notice at first. When I brought them back they were sent back out four different times because they kept coming back with a chipped lens. I didn't receive them for 2 months. I went back several times for adjustments which I told them they were never right. When I finally got really upset and told them I wanted restyled that they lose adjustment every time I clean them and I think the lab bent them so they don't set right, I was told it was past the 3 month period and there was nothing more they could do. I only had them for about 5 weeks in my possession.

Stop looking for an optometrist in Sierra Vista! This optometrist and his office women are EASILY the BEST anywhere. His office support staff apparently share his intellectual curiosity, a keen natural inquisitiveness, and a sincere sweetness. They ask a TON of questions, write it all down. These people are not about speeding people through the office. They are THOROUGH. In over 45 years of optometrist visits, I have NEVER met anybody like Dr Phillips. He is out of a different era. He LOVES a mystery and will leave no stone unturned to figure out your issue. It seems like I should get in trouble for admitting how much time he spent probing my habits and symptoms for over 45 minutes before miraculously NAILING it! Who would have guessed that blowing a floor fan across me for most of the day and all of the night could dry my eyes out? Yeah, it sounds elementary NOW, but Dr Phillips hung with it until I confessed! And then the piddling amount he charged me was over the top. I would have paid four or five times as much with no regrets. He is simply a GREAT optometrist and, I would bet heavily, a near-great human being, and there are not supposed to be ANY of those. He is one of a kind, for sure. I am very grateful.

Small, friendly office. Dr Phillips is extremely attentive, never in a rush and will always take the time to ask how you are doing and make his patients feel valued. Highly recommend! Be sure to schedule several weeks in advance!

Dr. Phillips was very thorough with my eye exam. I felt like he really listened to my concerns and explained everything I wanted to know about my eyesight and the prescription for new glasses. I would highly recommend.

I was visiting from out of state to see my new twin granbabies and lost the one contact that I wear. I was almost blind and afraid my whole trip was ruined.
