Global Eye Care in Cabot, Arkansas has a hardworking, welcoming team and a great atmosphere. The office has a nice, open, home-like feel rather than a stuffy medical office. There's a cozy fireplace and a kids' room where children can request a show while waiting for their exam or while you're choosing your next pair of glasses. They also start seeing patients as young as 4 years old, which is a huge plus for families. The staff takes the time to clearly explain insurance copays and what is and isn't covered. I appreciate the honesty, especially since insurance often feels more like a discount plan than true coverage. They're also upfront about how long glasses will take and explain that orders must be sent to the lab required by your insurance, meaning the glasses are made elsewhere due to insurance rules--not the office itself. They have two great doctors, and in my experience, if there's ever an issue, the managers and staff have always worked to resolve it or help find a solution--as long as someone communicates with them. I've been with this office for years, and I've seen some rude customers who expect everything their way when insurance doesn't go as planned or when they didn't take the time to read the same paperwork I've seen for years. Just know these are good people who care and have families too. Please don't fly off the handle thinking no one is there to help--they truly are, and they always have been, even through occasional staff changes. Thanks from a Cabot local. I went by to check and see how much my new insurance would pay and I was due for exam and the lady told me she could get me that morning. Made the appointment and was well pleased with all the staff. Dr. Brady always takes good care of me. When it came time to choose my glasses I was not rushed and the whole experience was awesome. Highly recomend Global Eye Care and staff, top notch!!

This was my first time here and I gotta say. I will not be going back. Although the eye doctor and tech that helped me were knowledgeable and nice, there just were a lot of other downfalls. I've always gone to the same place in Benton for decades, I recently moved to Ward and needed somewhere closer. The eye equipment seemed outdated compared to my previous location, the wait time is exponentially longer, the flow of the place seemed sporadic but slow at the same time, I had scheduling issues after I called and made an appointment. They texted me a date that wasn't what was originally made so I had to call them back to fix it (f.y.i, the text didn't come that same day, it was a few days after I first made an appointment, so be sure to double check the texts they send you cause if you miss an appointment you will get charged), they have a pay at time of service policy which I understand, so when I was getting checked out I had to ask if the total was correct because I was taken aback by it, I only expected to pay for the additional tests that they did, the one's not covered by insurance which they let me know about before signing and okaying anything. They asked me if I knew for sure that I was past the 24 months period since my insurance only covers the exam and office visit charges biannualy and I told them yes, I already called and checked with my insurance and they confirmed that my last visit was in November of 2023 so I asked them to double check the total but it was still the overcharged price which I knew was wrong. I went ahead and paid it because I couldn't wait much longer in thier office, I needed to use the restroom very badly but thier bathroom at the time had an Out Of Order sign taped on it, so I paid them so I could leave the building and go relive myself somewhere else. In the meantime, I call my insurance and confirm with them that my benefits are correct and the office visit as well as routine exam at the eye doctor should have been fully covered. They recommended that I go back and let them know this, and if needed, they can call the eye doctors office for me. Low and behold, back at the eye doctor (f.y.i. the Out Of Order sign was no longer on the bathroom door I had noticed), I informed them about the billing issue and that I just got off the phone with my insurance, after looking at my paperwork again it was determined that there was a mistake made and the doctor would fix and refund me back the wrong charged portion of the bill. Also during all of this, my eyes were completely dilated so I actually had to text a friend a picture of my insurance card so she could text me the number call, so it could be clicked through messages because I couldn't focus on the tiny font on my insurance card. All in all, I will probably just suck it up and make the journey to Benton next time I need an eye doctor visit because I'd rather pay for the extra gas and take some time out of my day than deal with all that.

My entire family goes here, every single time we come in the front desk lady is beyond rude, doesn't answer questions, and has the worst tone in her voice when she speaks to you. Today I had to walk up to her 3 separate times to request to pick up my contacts that I had already paid for because she kept saying "I'll get them in a moment" and then "I forgot about you" so I waited in office for 45 minutes to pick up contacts I had already paid for because she "forgotten to help me THREE times. Not to mention she argued with my wife about her insurance and told her she had "never been there before" when we've been coming here for 4 years. Most likely going to switch my entire family just because the front desk lady can't get her attitude together. The office wasn't busy, it was seriously only me and one other person in the waiting room. Every time I call she never answers the phone and then I get a text "sorry we missed your call" it's not during there lunch hour either, I made sure. She just isn't pleasant and doesn't want to do her job. It's absurd. She is single handedly running customers out of this business.

I wanted to say the staff was very kind. I really liked the lady who took me back to get me ready for the doctor to see me. I will say I have some struggles with focusing and when the doctor came in and started checking me out, he got frustrated with me. He really upset me because I couldn't tell him when the letters were clear. I had some shadows on my letters so it didn't look clear to me. The doctor got frustrated made me feel like a child. His comment hit me wrong. I understand when you're busy but I refuse to rush through my eye exam. I was tired of not being able to see clear and I was trying to be honest with him and when his comment was made that was the final straw for me. I'm not saying he is a mean person, he was just frustrated with me and it showed at that moment.

My 14 year old son Carter sees the eye doctor here. He's had glasses since he was 3 years old and recently got contacts from here. They helped him learn how to use them and practice with contacts. Very helpful. They have a really nice selection of glasses and everyone is super friendly and helpful.

The team there is always amazing. I've never had any problems and enjoy every visit I have.
