First eye exam in 15 years. Great experience. Easy check in. Short wait time. Actually in and out within an hour. Passed with flying colors! Buy more readers. lol

I called to confirm that they accepted my insurance and they said yes they did . I set an appointment for 11-19-25 . After arriving and giving my insurance card I had to do about 15 minutes of paperwork. After turning in the paperwork I was called to the front desk and told they didn't accept my insurance. This is about a 100 mile round trip for me . They were kind enough to say I could get the exam and pay out of pocket which I politely declined. Needless to say I'm not impressed.

I have gone here for a couple of years, but I'm ready to change to a new clinic. Everything is very disorganized as far as paperwork and insurance each time. Today was the last straw for me - I got the bill for the copay on my eye exam that was two weeks ago. It says in big capital letters 2nd Request - YOUR ACCOUNT IS PAST DUE" on it, even though this is the first bill. Also, whenever I try to pick up contacts, it's always a big hassle and they always seems confused about my order. I will be moving on to find better customer care!

five star staffs, zero star system. you will easily wait over an hour even with an appointment. everyone is nice and friendly tho.

My mom had an appointment, she thought at 3:45, but was at 3:15. Due to terrible storms, her doctor left early. When we got to clinic, they called the doctor, who was already headed back to Little Rock, and he turned around and came back just to see her. How many doctors would do that? This clinic and Dr. Pratt are the best around. God bless the nurses and Dr. Pratt. Thank you Magee Eye Clinic, 5 stars for everything I can think of. Pam Nordin Chris Martin

If you like to sit and wait in a back hallway with no one providing you any idea when you will be seen, then the Magie-Smith-Charton Eye Clinic is ideal for you. I arrived early, was seen by the aid early, then asked to sit in a hallway to wait for Dr. Charton to have a room available. There were two other people in the hallway as well. Dr. Smith was busy moving in and out of offices, those waiting for Dr. Charton never moved. I waited an hour, getting up twice to look for some assistance - but no one was at the front desk. After an hour, I left. Avoid this office and Dr. Charton. Disrespectful and lazy.

I scheduled a new patient appointment with Dr Koonce. I received a text message confirmation and they mailed me new patient paperwork. I had everything filled out and ready, all to be informed when I got there by the front desk lady that I didn't have an appointment. I sat for 1 hour waiting to be worked in and decided that this place doesn't want my business. I will not go back nor will I send anyone to them. Also the front desk lady was really rude and had no customer service skills. DO BETTER for your patients!!

I took my mother to her appointment scheduled for 1:30 p.m. We arrived early at 1:15. We sat in the waiting room for over an hour, and she was finally called back at 2:30 p.m. after asking the front desk about the wait time twice. The front desk caused a delay in putting her in the system although she is a regular patient. This has been the case the last several visits she has had (an hour or close to an hour wait). I would not recommend this place of business. The doctors are great, but they need to reevaluate the scheduling system they have in place and respect the patients time.
