Dr. Tan and her staff are wonderful! I enjoy coming in for exams and feel like I'm being listened to when I have questions about my vision.

What a great group. Peyton was welcoming and helped get me an appointment the same day due to an eye concern. Thanks to Dr Tan for fitting me in. I came back 3 weeks later to get fitted for glasses. Dr Tan took her time to evaluate me and Izzy helped me find the perfect frames.

I came here based on the reviews that Dr. Tan is kind and knowledgeable. I was not let down! She is so warm and helpful, and really does care about you and your eye health. Also, the front desk staff is AWESOME. They are professional and friendly on the phone and in person. The office is clean and welcoming.

Dr. Tan was highly recommended to me by a trusted friend. Sure enough she listens, takes time to explain, is flexible about treatment and I got wonderful results. My teenage son and I saw Dr. Tan a few weeks ago and it was such a pleasant experience. She ordered some trial contacts for my son and when we went in to try them she noticed that one of them did not fit his eye correctly (our previous experience with another Dr. was being given the contacts, a very quick and uninformative session on how to wear them, and out the door with the Dr. never checking to see how they worked and consequently my son never wore them) so she has ordered a couple of different types of contacts for him to try. She gave me some contacts to sample as well (I have severe dry eye) and they are so much more comfortable than what I was previously using. However, I still couldn't see well at a distance so she gave me more types to try and for the first time since I can remember I see clearly at all distances!!! These are just a few examples of the caring treatment that you will receive from Dr. Tan and her staff. From the time we walked in the door until left, we were treated with kindness and courtesy. Dr. Tan really took her time and listened to all of our questions as well as answering them to our satisfaction. She is very knowledgeable and shows a sincere concern for her patients. We have not had this experience with previous optometrists and their offices. We drove an hour to see Dr. Tan and we will continue to do so. From start to finish an excellent experience!!! I have been a patient of Dr Tan for a number of years now and I continue to be impressed with her expertise and thoroughness together with the professionalism of all the staff at Blue Mountain. During the appointment there is no attempt to rush even though by the nature of what I do my appointments always extend into the evening. Every question is carefully answered and in such detail that you're confident you are getting the exact prescription or product that is right for you. Everyone there is friendly and helpful in the extreme - I would not consider going anywhere else.

Only good things to say about Dr. Tan. It's been quite a whirlwind finding a good optometrist and she is truely five star. She is very knowledgeable, uses up to date equipment, thorough, time sensitive, and has excellent patient rapport and communication skills. The optician was also very helpful in selecting the right frames for my needs. I am sticking with Dr. Tan and Blue Mountain Optometry.

Dr. Tan is an outstanding doctor. I feel comfortable bringing any issues to her, and she always has a solution. She is very astute and keeps up to date with the latest technology and research. She also has a variety of imaging devices, including a retinal imager. Dr. Tan is also very friendly, approachable, and down to earth. She is patient in taking time to answer all my questions and discuss any concerns I have. Her front office staff is very friendly and eager to help. They provide helpful advice when selecting my glasses and provide glasses adjustments at any time (for free!).
