I had PRK surgery performed by Dr. Eric W. Johnston, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. He explained everything clearly, step by step, which made me feel comfortable and confident in both him and his team. I didn't feel a thing during the procedure, and my recovery has been smooth so far. Just the normal tearing and mild aches. I'm really glad I chose to have the surgery done at Morris Eye Group. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and every appointment has been efficient with minimal wait time. I always get my questions answered thoroughly, without ever feeling rushed. I would absolutely recommend Morris Eye Group to my friends and family.

The surgery was surprisingly quick and painless. Nurse Abby was tender and calming, I appreciated her demeaner as I was a bit nervous to let someone operate on my eye. Recovery was easier than I had expected and the results where amazing, everything was clearer and brighter. The cataract surgery has so improved my quality of life that I am going to have the other eye done, even though it is not nearly as bad.

Check-in was easy & the receptionists were very sweet. The waiting room is spacious and comfortable. Their equipment is modern and less invasive than other offices I've been to (I didn't know the puff of air in your eye was an outdated way to measure pressures as my prior doctor was still using it). The doctor and assistant took the time to get a thorough history and explain everything they were doing. It was very reassuring. I will be recommending them to my friends & family.

My preop appts have been great. From front desk, counseling, technicians and doctor, everyone has be friendly, pleasant, informative and knowledgeable. The entire experience was beyond today's typical medical experience and I'm so grateful I chose Morris

My cataract surgery was incredible. The results are unbelievable, but the staff and doctors are what really put this experience over the top for me: Fantastic people who obviously take a lot of pride in the work they do. The results are unmistakable. 2 months now, since the surgery... My review is unchanged: This has been a life-changing experience for me, as far as my sight is concerned. But I do feel it necessary to call out the two people who helped me through this the most: Dr. Moshtagi and Dr. Johnson. Adjusting the lens was the difficult part of this for me. I struggled through it a bit, though Dr. Johnson was extremely patient and very kind in his guidance. We got through it. Dr. Moshtagi was an absolute pleasure to work with. I can't recall an experience I've had with a doctor who was as kind, personable, and professional as Dr. Moshtagi. Something I've never said before: I looked forward to my follow-up visits because ALL of the people at Morris (not just the two doctors I've mentioned) are so good - very much a team dedicated to a patient's satisfaction. I have no words to accurately describe how good this experience has been.

This place is incredible! I went to the Shley eye institute in La Jolla & I walked out after waiting an hr. Ridiculous. I love this place. I got in right away and everyone was so nice. They went over & above to help! Shout out to Emma, Steve & Dr.Moshtaghi. Truly appreciated my experience & I'm going back again!

I visited this office in December 2025 with my daughter because she had rashes near her eyes and needed an ophthalmologist to check her. I chose this place because it appeared as in-network under my vision insurance. My health insurance is UnitedHealthcare, one of the most common and widely accepted plans, so I had no reason to expect any problems. The exam they provided was nothing special--just the same basic check she gets anywhere when getting new glasses. Then I received a bill for almost $700 because they decided to bill the visit through my medical insurance instead, which was out of network. At no point did the receptionist or anyone else warn me that the visit would be billed this way or that it would be considered out of network. There was zero transparency. This felt misleading and completely avoidable. Families deserve honest information before an appointment, not surprise bills afterward. I do not recommend this place and I don't want anyone else to get scammed the way I did.

Everyone was so wonderful, starting from the ladies at the desk to Dr.Amanlari. they were friendly, professional, compassionate and accommodating.I just can't say anymore. They made me very comfortable and confident in there environment. I think the good Lord is covering that whole place! Dr Amanlari is extremely, exceptional and would highly recommend him.
