Paige in the Encinitas store was so very helpful! I spoke to her on the phone yesterday wanting to know whether or not she could remove a black dot that had been placed on my non-prescription sunglasses when I switched to prescription lenses. Well as it turns out I no longer need prescription lenses after my cataract surgery! But there was no way I was going to be able to wear those non-prescription lenses that came with my sunglasses with a black dot on each lens. She told me to come on in because she had a way she could remove those dots! So in I went... She not only removed the spots for me but she put the lenses back in my glasses and tightened up the screws! She said it was a service LensCrafters provided free of charge and she was happy to do it for me! I can't tell you how much I appreciate her making it possible for me to wear my cute sunglasses again!
LensCrafters Encinitas came through for me when I really needed it. I had an online contact lens order delayed and I was completely out of contacts. The team was calm, kind, and incredibly helpful, and they were able to get me set up with PRECISION1 for Astigmatism and even provided five days' worth so I wasn't stuck.
Fast, professional, and genuinely caring -- thank you!
I picked up my first pair of prescription glasses (ever)here at LensCrafters Encinitas and highly recommend coming here
Fortunately, I was advised to purchase the warranty, and I unfortunately sat on my brand new glasses four days later..... and SMUSHED them... 24 hours before an international trip
I came to the shop and Paige/Elia We're able to take out my prescription lens, and pop them in a new frame and send me on my way within 10 minutes
10/10 recommend coming here!!!! Thank you!
Paige and Serenity were so kind and helpful. They helped me with my new Oakley meta sunglasses. I was so nervous to replace the frames. They helped me and were great!
Terrible customer service. Sold me glasses lenses that scratched and peeled (anti-reflective layer coming off). Instead of properly assessing and taking accountability, all they do is swiftly blame the customer for "rubbing the lenses." Another eye center analyzed the lenses and confirmed the peeling is due to either low quality or poor construction.
Waited 30 minutes for assistance only to have the technician start helping someone else and not return. Instead of apologizing and reassuring she'll come back to help me, she ignored my request for assistance. 15 minutes later of getting no attention, I just left without anyone realizing or caring.
Worse, they had told me they "accept VSP" but failed to disclose they are not in network. I only learned this after going to another eye center that was actually in network. Surprise, I had over $200 coverage compared to the $70 that LensCrafters told me my insurance had. I was misled and felt deceived.
Why give your business for low-quality products, complete lack of transparency, nonexistent customer service? I won't step back in again.
It started with Elia... Six weeks after eye surgery I was finally able to order new glasses, and that's when she came onto the scene. Not only did she help me source my new Tom Fords, but when I mentioned wanting another pair for the "shop," she had the perfect idea. She suggested rebuilding my old Tom Fords so I'd have a fresh pair for everyday wear and my old pair for the shop--because who wants to beat up a brand-new pair of Tom Fords?
I was all ears--and very grateful. She also made sure the order went in directly so I could get back on the road as soon as possible.
When my glasses were ready, Page stepped in to make sure my glasses fit perfectly. She was working solo on a busy Sunday when I stopped by, but even though she was completely slammed, she still took the time to make sure I left perfectly happy with my shop glasses.
I don't know why there isn't a line out the door. The team here is amazing--the value, professionalism, and their ability to source just about any frame you want, plus the savings on lenses... who could ask for more?
ME!!
Next year when it's that time again, there's no doubt where you'll find me: LensCrafters Encinitas--the very best of the best.
Thank you, Elia!
Thank you, Page!
Thank you, LensCrafters!!!
Superb customer service- and large variety of reading and sunglasses!
Just came in their store to get reading glasses replaced after a different store accidentally broke my frame and Brian was just outstanding in helping me find a replacement. So kind and efficient! Great store!
The people working on the floor at this LensCrafters location are so friendly and professional.
I was having some difficulty getting an answer from new health insurance plan about whether my eye exam would be covered or not While I waited on eternal hold, I asked Brian to take a look at my currentglasses, since they were crooked and loose.
He was really helpful and kind. He put a new tiny screw into one of my frames Without me asking.
... I'm going to find out the names of the two women who also helped me because I think they should be given kudos, too. They were amazing.
I do wish more retail workers were as Kind and Helpful as these three.
I'm definitely going back.
