Passion. You don't see that a lot these days, in any field, especially medicine. Doctors are overwhelmed and usually understaffed due to the ever-rising costs of having a private practice. Dr. Mozayan is a revelation to the world of retina health and his passion for it is evident as he enters the room, without even saying a word. From my first call to Carla to schedule a visit to working with Joanne, Andrew, Janet (please forgive any spelling errors on names) and the other members of this incredible team, I was always in confident and caring hands. Sometimes you are just in the right time at the right place; and fortunately, for my vision, that was the case this time. (I highly recommend annual checkups to avoid what I went through with two retina tears in the same eye, while visiting from New York City. Dr. Mozayan's quick plan of action, care and expertise saved me from a retinal attachment. I will be forever grateful for his passionate approach towards retina health!)

Dr. Mozayan's office gave me an appointment the same day I called because I had symptoms of PVD. I am so grateful for he and his office staff for seeing me right away and doing the diagnostic procedures necessary. Dr. Mozayan explained everything perfectly and reassured me of what to expect. Dr Mozayan saved my vision when I had a retina tear and didn't have it seen immediately. He is so skilled and thankfully now I see perfectly; Everyone in his office is very pleasant and accommodating. Fantastic medical practice! The staff and techs are all very kind and professional. After the necessary test precedures, Dr. Alexa Li met with me and went over the test results and calmed my fears with her wonderful bedside manner and clearly explained treatment plan. She then did the laser treatment that same day!! I called in on a Saturday night and Dr. Li called me right back. This office's staff, techs, Dr. Li and Dr. Mozayan (who Dr. Li called in on a consult) conduct their medical practice with professionalism, kindness, and a real sense of caring and urgency. I highly recommend Retina San Diego and have already sang their praises to all of my friends. I feel very lucky to have Dr. Li as my retina doctor and I highly recommend her and Retina San Diego!

Quality care from expert and experienced specialists. I have never visited any business where every single person you interact with is caring and helpful. I had to get some laser treatment and it is something I would not wish on anyone. Dr. Li was patient and understandingly as I had to take multiple breaks to handle the laser treatment.
