Dr. Nafiseh Hashemi, MD | Neuro-Ophthalmology

Dr. Hashemi and her team are extremely kind, caring, attentive, and professional. The office was extremely clean and beautiful and the wait times were minimal. The equipment in the examination room was state of the art and extremely clean. I was extremely impressed with their use of latest technology, including a VR headset for the peripheral vision test. Most of all, I was appreciative of how much time Dr. Hashemi personally committed to providing me with valuable advice and answering all my questions. Her assistant, Natasha, was also very courteous, helpful, and professional. I want to express my very sincere gratitude and love for the flawless care that I received. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Dr. Nafiseh Hashemi is an exceptional ophthalmologist who performed my eye surgery with remarkable skill. She is incredibly knowledgeable and made me feel at ease throughout the entire process. I've visited this eye center more than twice with my Medi-Cal insurance, and overall, my experience was great. The staff was very patient, appointments were well-organized and on time, and the doctor was thorough, took the time to answer all my questions, and addressed my concerns. The technician for the eye tests was also patient and friendly. The clinic was clean and well-maintained, and everything seemed excellent. However, despite this positive experience, I never received a prescription for my eye drops. Without it, I couldn't get my medication covered by insurance. I called four times at different times, but no one provided me with a clear answer. In the end, I had to pay $120 per month out of pocket for my eye drops, which would have been fully covered if the doctor had simply given me the prescription. Because of this issue, I can't give them a full 5-star rating. Everything else was great, but not providing a necessary prescription and failing to respond properly to my calls is unprofessional and disappointing. ....... After writing this review, Dr. Ghiam personally reached out to me and acknowledged the issue I faced. Unfortunately, before that, no one had informed him that I had called multiple times regarding the prescription. Once he was made aware of the situation, he acted promptly and assured me that he would provide the prescription for my eye drops as soon as possible. I truly appreciate Dr. Ghiam's professionalism and attentiveness. He was very understanding and took immediate action to resolve the issue. His kindness and commitment to ensuring the best care for his patients really stand out. I'm grateful for his efforts and for the excellent care provided by him and his amazing team. I love the doctor. Doctor Hashemi is amazing and very knowledgeable. 4/5 is only for the parking and the office itself. I always have trouble parking my car and finding the right door. In addition, in the office, the chairs are very very close to each other. Literally there is no space between chairs in the waiting area of the office. Again doctor Hashemi is great and patient. I hope they could fix these problems.

I'm 83 and I used glasses +3.75 for reading and +1.5 for constant wearing. Over the past few years, my vision has worsened sharply. I could only read with my left eye. I stopped wearing glasses due to double vision. The optometrists recommended contacting a neuroophthalmologist. I was a lucky dog when I became a patient of Dr. Benjamin Kambiz Chiant, who diagnosed me. I felt attention and friendliness as if had met a good old friend. This applies to all assistants. First, the doctor proposed to remove cataracts from eyes . Second, after surgeries to think what to do with double vision. Until it is my turn to the surgery (several months), the doctor temporarily attached to my glasses some kind of lens for the worse eye so that I could read with the two eyes. I was happy! Thank you, Doctor! Over the past month, Dr. Nafiseh Hashemi, the greatest Eye Surgeon Neuroophthalmologist, made 2 operations brilliantly. I have great happiness!!! From the first visit Dr. Hashemi has taken a sincere interest in my care. I am not only a patient, I am someone whose life has been saved by her quick diagnosis of a stroke and action to get me to an MRI for confirmation and then admitted for treatment. I didn't realize how important eye care is and how much of and indication it can be to overall health. Before I was referred I was seen by doctors who downloaded played my symptoms and sent me home. Dr. Hashemi is extremely knowledgeable, cares, and wants everyone to have a long and healthy life. I recommend her highly.

absolutely unprofessional - I unfortunately had 2 hours of my time wasted going to this appointment just to show up with their door being locked. I tried calling them while I waited 15-20 minutes outside their locked door, straight to voicemail multiple times. I had booked an appointment about a month prior for me just to show up and they flake on me for no apparent reason, I still don't know what happened. they decline my calls, it is the most bizarre unprofessional experience ever and I sadly had to waste my time going to their office. I will not be returning to this "business". I hope you guys learn to respect other people's time and manage your business better, this is terrible.
