Doctor and staff are kind. Office is clean and welcoming. I didn't have to wait long with was great. They took me out of my comfort zone when it comes to frames and now I'm in love with my new frames. Best part for me is that they are open Saturdays. Highly recommend this office.

I have been a patient of Dr. Etting's since 2014 when I would have weekly vision therapy appointments. I currently live in Denver, Colorado so all of my doctors are there now. Except I fly home every 6 months to see Dr. Etting because I will not have another eye doctor until the dreaded day when he retires. When I started vision therapy with him I couldn't see out of my right eye but because of him I now can and my vision has only progressed. There isn't a better eye doctor in the world than Dr. Etting!

I went to get checked for prism glasses and did the full assesment, they were super friendly and Dr. Jackie made me feel super comfortable, from the first test we realized that I indeed needed prism glasses, I cannot believe that a lot of my problems came from that! From not being able to walk down stairs or escalators without freaking out or having to hold on to the side, to being so scared of heights and getting dizzy in the car when I am the passenger.
After getting my glasses and doing the therapy and exercises I was able to get on a hot air balloon, I don't even think when I go on escalators and I am comfortable during car rides.
I am so thankful that I found dr Jackie and everyone who helped me at Visual processing optometry!

My daughter has been coming in for eye therapy for about 3 months. Everyone she has seen and worked with has been phenomenal! Dr. Liz did her initial evaluation and exam. She made my daughter comfortable and explained everything as she worked through the exam. Dr. Kim has been conducting her weekly therapy sessions and she has been amazing in every way possible. Kamy is amazing with my daughter and is always very attentive and helpful when we have questions or concerns. Judy was great in helping us get properly fitted for our glasses as well. Everyone in the office is professional and very welcoming. Even on the days that were hard for my daughter everyone was patient, kind and showed empathy. The care my daughter receives as a patient is above and beyond what I expected when we started. I would highly recommend Visual Processing Optometry whether you need therapy or even for regular eye exams. Thank you for taking such good care of my family's eye care needs.

The appointments themselves were good and the doctor was attentive during our visits. However, the follow-through was very disappointing. There was no follow-up communication, and I never received the report that was promised. Good care doesn't end when the appointment is over, and unfortunately the lack of follow-through left me very dissatisfied. Our appointment was May 3, 2025 and we have still not received a report after numerous emails as well as a letter sent via mail. In addition, I was told the doctor would speak to my daughter's vision therapist. I provided the contact information and sent an email and there was no communication. Incredibly disappointing. My daughter has significant special needs and is non-verbal so communication from specialists is key to her care.

They really take extremely good care of their clients. Every single session is tailored to my needs and adjusted in accordance to my progress. They are so thorough, compassionate and professional that I couldn't possibly imagine going anywhere else. As an adult working on correcting strabismus I have seen huge progress in my first 12 sessions. I can see my children's face expressions from a distance for the first time ever. I can go out in public and feel more confident about my eye alignment and my vision is dramatically improved. I can't thank or praise the wonderful people who work at this office enough. As a side night it's also very sweet that every time I walk into the office I'm greeted by happy smiling and friendly staff, from the receptionist to my vision therapist. An all round wonderful and truly beneficial experience. I'm not starting my second set off sessions.

About Visual Processing Optometry
Our office provide services for both pediatric and adult patients in need of binocular vision assessments, developmental testing, and neuro-optometric rehabilitation evaluations. We use a variety of tools including prisms, tinted lenses, and occlusion therapy in combination with visually guided motor skills to help integrate visual input with spatial awareness, balance, gait, and coordination. A number of our patients have had an acquired or traumatic brain injury, are developmentally delayed, or have been diagnosed on the autism spectrum. Established by Donald J. Getz OD, FCOVD in 1961, the practice has grown under the tutelage of Gary L. Etting OD, FCOVD until 2021, and is now under the care of Elizabeth Nace OD and Shawn M. Joseph OD.
