Newman Lasik Centers

I did my consultation last year, recommended by 2 family members and Solano Eye Care. Scheduling was a breeze, when I was ready for the investment I called the office and spoke with Mayra. She was able to schedule my appointment and put in an order to my local pharmacy for the medication needed after the surgery. I wasn't too scared about the actual procedure and the staff were very calming and reassuring that it is easy and quick, which it was. 10/10 experience, I am very happy that I went with Dr. Newman. His staff members are great. My eyes did hurt about 1.5 hrs after the procedure, but I think it was nice that I did my surgery later in the day (5pm) cause I was able to put in the required eyedrops and sleep it off. I woke up with a fresh set of eyes and forgot about the pain. I'd definitely get lasik again.

My experience was phenomenal. I've worn glasses for approx 40yrs and approx 4 months after the surgery, I still find myself occasionally trying to remove them. The pricing was lower than expected and was slightly concerned but after reading other reviews, I went with it. Dr Newman did the surgery (with his equipment & friendly staff). It was initially painless (due to numbing solutions) but 30 mins later, I couldn't keep my eyes open, due to the pain - DRIVER AFTER SURGERY IS A MUST. I still couldn't open my eyes to reach for the drops - my wife administered the RX drops every hour after surgery, while I layed in bed, trying to sleep off the initial pain. I'd strongly recommend having your driver stay to assist with the 2 different drops. I've had to regularly use drops to lubricate my eyes. Currently I only put drops in the morning, after waking up. I have Blended lasik which gives me 1 reading eye and 1 far sided distance eye. It's awesome!!!! I can read and see far. It can sometimes be a little (miniscule) fuzzy during transition as your brain goes from near to far sided. It's hard to discribe but my best attempt is a 'changing font'. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr Newman and also recommend blended for older patients (but talk to your Dr, and preview first)

Best self-investment. Life changing convenience for now needing to wear a pair of glasses. Did the PRK as recommended by Dr. Newman, very painful, it lasted about 10 hours, after that drastically improve. No issues afterward and now 20/20 vision after 6 months.

Dr. Newman is amazing! The surgery was quick and easy and no pain. It is amazing how fast I was able to see without needing glasses or contacts. Dr. Newman talked to me through the entire procedure which was very comforting and informative. The staff here is amazing ! I had a 2 weeks follow up appointment post procedure and now I have 20/20 Vision! I definitely recommend getting Lasik done for anyone interested, it is a life changing and it's 100 percent worth it!

Dr. Newman and his team were fantastic! They made my whole experience easy and comfortable. I got the PRK procedure due to my high astigmatism. Recovery was a lot faster than I expected. I can finally see! My prescription was a -6.5 so to finally see again is amazing. The surgery was very fast, about less than 10 minutes. 1000/10 recommmed coming here for you're vision correction surgeries!

5 stars? How about 6 stars. Dr. Newman and his staff are the best! Going into it, I was so nervous and my anxiety was going through the roof. Yet meeting Myra, Steve and James, they helped me get rid of all that. Very comforting and caring throughout the whole processing, they also inform me of all that would happen during pre, day of surgery and post. I can't thank them enough. Of course I'm still recovering, but now I can see clearly. 25 years of wearing glasses. Not anymore!! Best decision of my life. If you're thinking about lasik, please do not hesitate, contact Dr. Newman and his staff. They are the best! You will not regret it! ps... look at the clock before the procedure. It'll be amazing after.

Making the long overdue decision to have my vision corrected took me to Newman LASIK Centers and I could not be happier with the results and service! I had my LASIK treatment with Dr. Newman and his staff about 2 weeks ago. My vision was extremely bad before surgery and I didn't think I would qualify.
