Dr Oakey was very thorough and explained the damage to the eye and detailed all options and explained everything in detail. His bedside manner is warm. He was our second opinion doctor and we highly recommend him. He office staff is very helpful and provides detailed information and has exceptional follow up. It's obvious Dr Oakey cares about his patients and wants to make sure they know exactly what to expect along with the recovery expectations. He is very transparent and makes sure you understand the possible side effects and outcomes of the procedure. We will continue to see Dr Oakey for all our eye care needs.

The entire experience was great! First, immediately after the referral was sent, the office called to let me know they were correcting a couple of issues on the referral, and to set up an appointment immediately. Note, their office contacted me, rather than waiting for me to call--how refreshing! Next, they were able to get me in right away. The office is not only very clean, it has an updated, fresh look which was calm and serene feeling. The entire office staff was friendly, pleasant, helpful and patient with the patient (me!).
Dr. Oakey put me at ease, and communicated what I needed to know in order for me to make an informed decision regarding my condition. He also said his door is always open for me to come in if/when I have any more questions or concerns.
I wish I could remember the names of the staff who attended to me so I could thank them personally, but I hope they know how much their attention and care is appreciated.
