This practice is just amazing. I have been a patient of Dr. Alinaghian's for many years and can't imagine going anywhere else for my vision needs. From booking the appointment to receiving my glasses (and everything in between), the service has always been top-notch. Dr. Alinaghian is kind, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. I always enjoy interacting with the warm and helpful staff during my visits. At my most recent appointment, they helped me browse their great selection of designer glasses and pick out the most gorgeous pair of sunglasses ever made. :) If you're looking for a practice that truly takes care of you and your family's vision needs, this is definitely the place to go!

Today was the time for another annual eye exam with Dr. Ali. I've been under his care for many years -- from an emergency eye injury to routine check-ups -- and every time, I leave even more impressed by his knowledge and wisdom. His amazing, well-organized office staff are always available to assist with appointments and navigating insurance benefits. Truly top-notch care every time.

I've been seeing Dr. Alinaghian for many years, and when it came time for my LASIK surgery, he referred me to a trusted surgeon for the procedure. However, he personally handled all of my pre-op and post-op care. From start to finish, Dr. Alinaghian made sure I felt comfortable, informed, and well taken care of. I'm forever grateful for his compassionate care, expert knowledge, and the support of his amazing team. I'm already looking forward to my next annual exam!

Dr Alinaghian has been an incredible gift in treating my daughter's vision. From the moment she was seen, he was able to thoughtfully and expertly diagnose her eye condition. He was endlessly patient, answering every question, and made sure I left each visit feeling informed and reassured. His expertise and depth of knowledge in treating children is unmatched. He took the time to understand how my daughter's vision was affecting her life and was able to counsel us on day-to-day considerations to improve her vision, as well as provided a long term treatment plan. His treatment approach was thoughtful and effective, and the results have been incredible. My daughter's vision has improved so much, and I've watched her confidence grow right along with it. What truly sets him apart, however, aside from his vast experience, is his kindness and the genuine care he has for his patients. I will always be grateful for Dr. Alinaghian's skill, patience, and compassion. He turned what could have been a frightening journey into one filled with hope and trust. If you are a parent looking for an optometrist who is both brilliant and truly cares about children, I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I have been coming here for nearly 15 years, since I was a teenager under my parents' insurance. Dr. Alinaghian and his team's service just doesn't compare. I appreciate the education and care. The front desk ladies are wonderful as well. I have been wearing glasses since elementary age, and contacts since middle school. I am incredibly grateful for their skill to use every bit of my insurance to cover glasses and contacts. At other places, I had to pick which one to cover with insurance, then pay a large out of pocket sum for the other. You would think it shouldn't be this hard to receive a yearly supply of covered contacts and frames, a basic necessity, especially with insurance. Appointments are always easy to setup. For these reasons, I continue to return every year.

Edit: The patient coordinator "Michelle" sent me an email stating if I did not remove my review they will sue me. I am busy enough and did not seek their services to later be threatened with a lawsuit based on my attempt to reveal an accurate and truthful experience to the general public. I sought their services to seek an eye exam for my special needs toddler. I regret not seeking services with UCI instead. I hate confrontation and only seek services were my child and I are welcomed and treated with respect and care. No one from the office tried to reach out to me after the 2nd appointment to resolve or restore any lack of confidence. Instead, I received an email of threatening to sue and basically calling me a liar. I feel like this Dr office is attempting to silence me from sharing our experience and I forever regret making a first appointment with this eye clinic. 2nd edit: my toddler's eyes were not dilated at either appointment at this clinic May 12th, 2025, or July 10, 2025. I did not know it is recommended to dilate the eyes before prescribing. I'm not the professional. I'm the concerned parent taking my child to seek professional care. Anyways. After our 2nd appointment with Dr. Ali July 10, 2025, We sought a second opinion at a nonprofit called Beyond Blindness. My toddler was assessed by 2 eye drs before and after dilation. The Beyond Blindness team verified the rx of my child's glasses provided by Dr. Ali which was verified with the physical glasses and matched the rx written by Dr. Ali. Dr Ali's rx was off. My toddler needs a stronger rx. I would like a refund. This dr office should offer a full refund at this point. They can have their frames back if they want. I had mentioned in my first posted review, which triggered a "Formal Response of Defamatory Review" email from the patient coordinator "Michelle", that my daughter stopped naming the shapes on the wall during the third round of that part of the exam, at her follow-up exam with Dr Ali. After seeking a professional and verified second opinion, now we know why. Because the rx Dr Ali prescribed May 2025 was not accurate. My toddler was fully participating until she COULDN'T! Not because she was a "manipulator"! This has only pushed us back further. We paid Dr. Ali $215 for glasses with a rx that isn't even accurate.

Exceptional Service and Care! I have been a patient of Dr.Alinaghian for few years and I can't say enough about the incredible service I consistently received. From the moment I walk in to the office, I am greeted by a warm and knowledgeable staff who make every visit pleasant and efficient. Dr.Ali is always professional, thorough, and takes the time to explain any questions I have about my eye health or vision care. I truly appreciate how they make sure I understand all my options and take individualized approach to my needs. The entire team goes above and beyond, ensuring that each appointment runs smoothly, and I never feel rushed. Whether it's routin check-up or a more specialized treatment, I always feel confident in the care of I received here. Both my son and daughter are patients of Dr. Alinaghian, and I couldn't be happier with our experience. My son has a lazy eye, and after seeing several other eye doctors who told us surgery would be the only option, Dr. Alinaghian introduced us to vision therapy. He has continuously monitored and adjusted my son's treatment plan, and now my son's eyes are able to coordinate! While there's still a slight difference in prescription, I am more than satisfied with the progress, and I'm incredibly grateful to Dr. Alinaghian and the front desk staff. They truly care about kids and are incredibly patient. My daughter first visited for an eye exam when she was just three years old, and thanks to the kindness of the doctor and staff, she completed her first exam smoothly. Dr. Alinaghian also takes the time to educate them on proper eye care and tracks each child's "hyperopia reserve," which I really appreciate. I highly recommend this clinic and feel so lucky to have found it!
