Most healthcare professionals in central OC rush you out the door & treat you like an ATM but Focus Vision are caring, competent people who take the time to get to know you. They have gone the extra mile for me and my family, getting to the bottom of some complex issues. The front staff is friendly and helped me pick out a sharp pair of glasses.

Dr. Jane Liang has been a lifesaver for our family! We are so deeply appreciative of the care and support and expert guidance she has given us through tricky period of eye health issues. A month ago, at a routine eye checkup before my oldest son left for university, he was diagnosed with marginal pellucid degeneration and his vision was (very) significantly worse than his list annual checkup, despite a lifetime of perfect vision up until then. She not only caught it (it's tricky to diagnose) but then asked to immediately see my younger son and he has it as well. It's genetic and I'm the carrier. Needless to say, I was worried sick. Just sick. If it's not managed properly, it will render both our sons functionally blind. Dr. Liang has been our lifeline. She explained the condition in detail and in terms we could understand, mapped out options for treatments to slow its progression and immediately set up the first steps needed to (hopefully) regain some of his vision, checked what our insurance would cover and is now helping us find corneal specialists in the area and start treatments that should help his vision immediately and get him on the path toward managing it. Dr. Liang is an exceptional doctor and one of those rare physicians with the deep expertise needed to catch the rare conditions like ours and yet so much kindness and compassion that you as a patient feel safe and supported even under the worst of diagnoses. She listens to and prioritizes her patients' health concerns. She even gave my son her cell number in case he struggled with the new contacts + glasses. A PHYSICIAN GAVE HER PATIENT HER CELL NUMBER ... JUST IN CASE. Um, yea. When is the last time your doctor did that for you, just to make sure you felt confident in the treatment protocols? Exactly. So yes, switch to Focus Vision. This whole thing has been scary but boy do I feel like we have superwoman in our corner.

At the first encounter, I didn't feel Cala a welcoming character. But after a few rounds of communications, I found her a knowledgable person and would give good advice if she understands our concerns or we make our concerns clear to her.

The lady at the front desk has been super helpful ann has made my day genuinely yesterday! As a university students, you guys have been super helpful in covering my costs in terms of my prescriptions! I am happy to still be coming here and always look forward to your guy's help on fixing both my glasses! :)

This one star is for the receptionist, Carla. I was told that my glasses prescription was valid only for one year unless I asked the doctor for two (contacts are yearly, glasses are every 2 yrs). She was condescending and laughed at the end of our call. Few minutes later, I received my prescription that indicates my glasses rx was for 2 years...I just don't understand the point of the rudeness, even if it was her ignorance. Thanks, I'll never return to your office after that.
