Spectrum Optometry

The doctors here are decent, but the store manager is unprofessional and made the whole experience uncomfortable. My calendar showed an appointment that morning, but I never received the usual check-in form. I called to confirm, and the manager said my appointment was on schedule--so I planned to come at 11 AM. Then he told me another customer was running overtime and suggested I come at 12:20 instead, which already seemed disorganized. When I arrived, the doctor was still busy, so I waited quietly. The manager asked me to browse frames, which was fine, but when I mentioned my wife would come to help pick one, he suddenly got annoyed and asked how long she'd take--while I was still waiting for my turn. He said he needed to leave for lunch and started lecturing me about remembering appointments, even though I had confirmed and showed up on time. I tried to stay polite, but he walked off and left me in the showroom. Overall, a strange and unpleasant experience. The doctors seem good, but the front-end management really needs improvement.

My wife and I have been loyal patients at Spectrum Optometry for good reason--Dr. Pamela and her amazing team consistently go above and beyond. Every visit includes a thorough and detailed eye health check, and I've never had reading glasses as crystal clear and comfortable as the ones I received here. My wife is especially happy with her daily glasses, which have greatly improved her driving experience. We truly appreciate the care, professionalism, and personal attention we receive every time we come in. Thank you, Dr. Pamela and team, for your exceptional service!

If there is a zero star I would give 0. I used to be customer there, had 2 pairs of purchased glasses with them before and couple of eye examines there. I brought in 2 pairs of glasses for them to adjust the frame. They let me sign some BS paper work to confirm if there is any damage to the glasses they will not be responsible. However, my 2 pairs of glasses lens were obviously scratched right out of the door. I came back and they of course deny it. I would not recommend this place to anybody no more. If you come in to the store you need to watch out and be extra cautious. People are not always nice is what I am saying. Business is not booming always for a reason.

The place is not transparent on prices and tried to benefit from my daughter's insurance even though it was already covered in the price we paid, but they still filed for the visit charges for insurance to pay. Additionally, they charge you abt $110 for getting your OWN record data as they don't want to give it to you if you are leaving this place!!! All my new optometry places afterwards said this is a bit crazy and illegal. Additionally, they limit how many free checkups you have per year like 3-4 times. Then they will charge you for extra visits even tho you are experiencing uncomforts. In sum, don't come here if you can. And Dr.Wu has a weird temper issue, sometimes she's in a great mood and sometimes you can clearly tell she's frustrated ....

Great place. Dr Wu is very good, patient and friendly. I have been going to her and her team since 2016 and never had an issue. They have all the modern equipment, no more blowing air into the eye test. Yay.

Great experience here. Multiple good things to highlight: 1. I always have dry eye problems and come to this place every time. Eye exam here is professional and the doctor provides different suggestions/eye drops each time to treat my eyes. This helps me recover quickly. 2. The manager here is nice they he shares with me the detailed benefits of my insurance, otherwise, I might not know about those benefits. 3. I also purchased glasses, sunglass, and multiple lens here. All with good quality.

Had a great experience getting my exam and glasses shopping all while managing my toddler. Thank you for your quick service and your patience with us AND even offering my son some toys to occupy him with! And a special thank you to Peter who DROVE my new glasses to me when their building was closed for emergency repairs! 10/10! Thank you!
