I just had another outstanding experience at UCI's Gavin Herbert Eye Institute.
Dr. Riazi and his entire team are truly exceptional. What stands out is the thorough process you go through before even seeing him, multiple highly skilled technicians and residents carefully check everything along the way.
Some patients might find the "double exam" (especially with doctors-in-training) a little repetitive, but I actually love it. It feels like built-in quality control, and you know nothing gets missed.
The facility itself is impressive: modern, extremely well-funded, and equipped with some of the latest diagnostic technology available anywhere.
I only learned afterward (Googling) that the Gavin Herbert Eye Institute consistently ranks among the top eye centers on the West Coast.

I visited the UC Irvine GHEI clinic on September 4th for a 7:00 AM appointment with Dr. Austin Fox and his assistant, Diana. Both were very professional and friendly. The clinic opened on time, and the check-in process was quick and efficient, allowing me to complete my regular exam without wasting time. Dr. Fox was thorough and patient during the evaluation. Dr. Leigler is great! And the Optical Shop staff are all really helpful and easy to interact with on everything from insurance to choosing frames. I've been seeing (and recommending) Dr. Leigler since 2016 when blurry vision had me needing glasses for the first time. He was my first stop (of several!) at the GHEI on my way to getting diagnosed with MS.

Doctor Olivia Lee is one of the best Optomalogist at UCI Health Center. I have done my Catrac surgery with a Surgen out side of UCI about three years ago. Since then I had a problem with my left eye. My Surgen referred me to different specialist but, still the problem was there. Until I saw doctor Lee, she was very confident and sharp enough to address the problem. After she examined my eyes she thought me how to take care of my eyes and ordered special eye drops. Soon I got released of feeling very uncomfortable with my eyes.
I highly recommend this wonderful doctor of UCI to anyone who are seeking for a best and caring Optomalogist.
