Needed to have a pair of newer frames readjusted to stop sliding off my nose. Shop who sold them couldn't get them right. There was no wait and the technician was very helpful. Back and forth a few times tweaking the fit and she even added softer silicone nose pads. They now they fit perfectly. Cheerful fast friendly and free. What's not to like. Plus, they have a great selection of frames.

Dr. Ghodsi is so wonderful! I came in with bacterial conjunctivitis and an allergic reaction to the antibiotic drops that urgent care had put me on. Dr. Ghodsi knew right away which ingredient had irritated my eyes and she switched my medication. Her exam was thorough and so informative, educational and helpful. She even showed me a diagram of the eye and tear ducts to further explain what was happening in my case and how to remedy it. I feel very fortunate to have found such an incredible eye doctor in Irvine!

Warning: this place is not transparent about the cost. This is my first time here and I left with very mixed feelings. I was just getting my eye prescription here. I was very clear about that and Dr. Ghodsi is truly exceptional. She's patient and kind and I can see how she cares about my eye care and wants the best for me. She gave me a full and thorough evaluation and i was told that I don't necessarily need a new glasses but with my eye condition (I have huge difference on prescriptions between my two eye) she could appeal me as medical necessary, and have my insurance to cover a full year supply of contact with specific brands and on top of that receive a 300 dollar with this brand that is doing a promotion. I thought that is too good to be true. She also offers me other options like 120 allowances on glasses or contacts with my insurance like what other places would have. (I've been to optometry places a lot and even part timed at a place shortly so im very familiar with the procedure and costs.) However, when I got out. I was lead to the front desk guy Jason who i believe is the manager to discuss the plan & cost. He wasn't gonna let me walk away without spending as much money here. I told him what the doctor told me about medical necessary lenses & promotion and he wrote me that I have to pay 105 because that was a premium evaluation or something and that wasn't included in that eye exam, which I thought was a little skeptical but whatever. I asked him what about glasses then. I said I only want something what my insurance would cover and he didn't like that at all... I then kindly ask him to guide me to glasses that insurance would fully cover and he pull out the drawer unpleasantly like how he was upset that I said that magic word. I ended up picking one and he pull out a paper to try to put every single add-ons and ended up writing me 345-500 of cost, which I thought was pretty ridiculous for just lenses with no cost on frames and 120$ deduction. And he didn't even care to explain to me what those are for or how he gets to that number, how much the insurance is covering. You should really be able to get prescriptions and lenses less than 200 in other places with UC SHIP or 150 in costco with all add ons too. I had to tell him that I don't need it then and ask if I could still get boxes of contact with my 120 dollars allowance and he said well I need 2 boxes for two different prescriptions and I know for a fact 120 is way more than enough to pay for 2 boxes of 30 day contacts and I think he just mad I didn't spend money (except 10$ eye exam) there and refused to give me anything. I still want to say that Dr. Susan Ghodsi is truly an angel, she went above and beyond but the manager really don't care about you at all and all he wants is for you to give him money. I think i could've walk away with just single vision glasses with no add ons like a champ or pay 105 and get 300 back like what the doctor wanted me to have but i just didn't feel very comfortable anymore after all.

I have visited them several times. Clean, tidy, and organized place. Very nice and welcoming staff, and great, professional doctors who answer all the questions you have! The doctors are also very friendly and it's easy to make conversations with them.

Easy to make an appointment. I went on a Tuesday afternoon and there was no wait. They had my insurance so I only had 1 page of paperwork which was easy. They accept many insurances but be sure to check! Susan was my optometrist and she was wonderful. She explained things very well and I left an educated individual in Optometry - my eyes in particular. The rest of the staff was very attentive and friendly. They also sell frames and glasses of course!

Always have a great experience when I come here! I had an appointment with Dr. Huang and they had me started as soon as I got there, waited maybe a minute before getting called up by her. She is very nice and answered all my questions. I told her I was thinking about getting LASIK and she was able to give me more info and refer me to a place to get a consultation. Overall great experience!

Lindsey and Mai were super helpful! I recently broke my glasses and I was super stressed, but Lindsey helped reassure me. Lindsey helped readjust my spares that were really uncomfortable and tried her best to find me a replacement. She was super patient and kind. Mai also helped explained what would be the best fit of glasses for me as my vision is pretty bad!

I had a fantastic experience with this office and their team today. From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed. They were not only kind and attentive, but also incredibly knowledgeable and efficient. I came in with a concern that had been bottom me for a while, and they were able to quickly diagnose and resolve the issue with care and clarity. What stood out the most was how patient and thorough they were in explaining everything, making sure I felt comfortable and informed throughout the visit. It's rare to find a provider who combines professionalism with such a warm, approachable manner. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an optometrist who truly puts their patients first!
