Dr Iyengar is the best of the best. I did a lot of research, and learned about Dr. Iyengar's extraordinary background, superb skills, and excellence in patient outcomes. During the consultation appointment, the Doctor showed both his clinical expertise, and focus on patient care. Dr Iyengar performed a lower blepharoplasty. He thoroughly explained the procedure, and what to expect post surgery. Dr Iyengar is such a gifted surgeon, that I experienced zero pain and discomfort after the procedure. The outcome is absolutely beautiful and very natural. My eyes look refreshed, not redone. I also get my Botox done by Dr. Iyengar. He administers the injections with the most natural and refreshed results. I will not even consider going elsewhere. The staff at San Diego Eyelids are all professional and very kind. I always appreciate their help in appointment scheduling, and following up on any questions I may have.

Dr. Iyengar did a phenomenal job on my eyelid surgery (upper and lower). It's no surprise he has such an outstanding reputation in this specialty. My wife and three daughters encouraged me to go for it, and they're shocked at how much younger I already look--and it's only been one week. I recently saw Dr. Iyengar for an upper eyelid blepharoplasty with eyebrow cyst removal, and my experience and results were both better than I could have asked for. Going into this surgery, I was pretty nervous, especially since I chose to do the procedure without anesthesia. For reference, I'm the type of person who gets anxious having cavities filled, so I was expecting this to be a challenge. Much to my surprise, however, I did not experience any anxiety and there was virtually no pain throughout the procedure. The whole process lasted about 30 minutes, and during the procedure, his assistant lets you know what he is doing so that there are no surprises. Dr. Iyengar himself was very gentle. If I had to choose between having another upper bleph surgery or a cavity filled, I would choose the upper bleph surgery every time! After the surgery, I took a Tylenol on the car ride home as recommended, and I'm not even sure that was needed. During the recovery process, there was no pain and little to no discomfort, despite the swelling in the first few days. I went back to work five days after the procedure, and once the stitches came out, the scar lines were barely visible. I am now just over two months post-surgery and I am so impressed with my eyelids! Dr. Iyengar worked magic on them. They look very natural, and there is almost no evidence that I had the surgery. If I ever need surgery done around my eyes in the future, Dr. Iyengar will be the first and only person I call!
