After my husband had an eye injury and visited the ER on Sunday, we were referred to Dr. Zaveri for follow-up care. His office was already aware of our situation when we called, which showed how well their team communicates. Even with a full schedule, they fit my husband in first thing the next morning.
The entire staff was professional, kind, and welcoming. Dr. Zaveri provided thorough, compassionate care, and we are extremely thankful for his expertise. We highly recommend Dr. Zaveri and Torrey Pines Eye Care.
I recently started experiencing major vision changes, including black floaters and vision loss. As a Type 1 diabetic, I was terrified. I ended up in the Scripps Encinitas ER, where I was referred to an ophthalmologist in La Mesa--only to find out it was out of network and would have been extremely expensive after making an appointment, providing insurance, and arrived therr with a 1 hour drive.
My sister recommended this office, and I am so grateful she did. They were able to get me in the same day 'mid afternoon and even verified my insurance ahead of time, which gave me so much peace of mind. From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and professional.
Dr. Zaveri was beyond amazing. The initial nurse was incredibly kind and reassuring, and Dr. Zaveri took the time to clearly explain everything that was going on with my eyes to both me and my wife. He was patient, compassionate, and never made me feel rushed or brushed off. He helped calm a lot of my fear and walked me through what to expect next, including my upcoming visit with a retina specialist.
I left feeling informed, supported, and truly cared for. If you need eye care from a team that treats you like a person and not just a number--especially if you're dealing with something scary like sudden vision changes--I cannot recommend this office enough.
Several years ago, I had to find a new ophthalmologist. I asked a number of doctors if they had any recommendations and the same names kept on coming up, Doctors Bainter and Zaveri. I have not been disappointed.
Both doctors are kind, knowledgeable, and patient. As a patient, I never feel rushed and have all my questions answered in terms I can understand, There has never been the slightest hint of any upselling or unnecessary testing or procedures. In fact, just the opposite. There is a true sense that the doctors care about you as a patient and I have the utmost confidence in both these doctors,
The office is very calm and well run with little to no wait times. The front desk is professional and polite. I can't recommend Torrey Pines Eye Care enough.
I have been going here for almost 3 years now. Everyone here is very professional, kind, and caring. They tell you what they are doing and why during the exams. I just had one eye surgery to remove a cataract, and my doctor was fantastic at explaining the process and making sure I was comfortable throughout. I love the follow-up calls to check on me as well. Highly recommend.
My husband and I had our first appointments last week at Torrey Pines Eye Care and were very impressed by the entire staff. They are extremely patient focused and we didn't feel rushed at all. Dr. Zaveri did very thorough exams on both of us and uncovered some issues that were missed in the past. We have a lot of confidence in him and the entire team. We are glad we found such a great place for our eye care.
SENSATIONAL SERVICE ! My wife found this eye care place online on Thursday so I could get an eye exam. Darn if I didn't accidentally break my number one pair of Silhouette rimless eye glasses the night before. The prescription was probably 3 years old so an eye exam before I bought a new pair made perfect sense. I phoned soon after they opened at 8am and spoke with Melody. I suggested I could come in at 11.30am that morning and Melody ticked that box. COST ! Normally $200 - $250 for an eye exam but Melody said they accept Medicare which brought the total cost down to $75 for the printed prescription. Melody took my name, phone no and email address. Soon after I received an email with attached forms to fill in beforehand. Close enough to our house to walk but my wife decided to drive me here. They will validate your parking upfront otherwise it is $4 an hour. I arrived on time and Melody had my paperwork sorted out in seconds. While waiting I met the lovely Optician Monica who enquired if I needed to buy a pair of eye glasses. I knew that didn't sell my preferred brand Silhouette so my answer was no. Soon after Lisa the Ophthalmic Technician beckoned me to follow her inside. Lisa performed a multitude of eye tests...a totally thorough and complete eye vision check out. Lisa fetched me a bottle of spring water before finishing up. Within a few minutes Dr Patricia Bainter entered the examination room. More eyes vision tests and close up examination...again I felt very comfortable that a total professional was taking extreme care examining my eyes. Back at the reception desk my wife was waiting while I paid the $75 for the printed prescription. To say I was very impressed with my first visit here would be an understatement. The all female staff here are the sweetest in the world. THE REAL DEAL !
Dr. Zaveri was able to get me in within a short notice and gave me the help I needed. He advised me on long term eye care and clearly has a passion for his line of work. I recommend him to anyone looking for next level eye care. Thanks Doc!
TP eye care is the best. They take the time to give top notch care. My cataract surgery was flawless. This in spite of the difficulties added due to a previous Lasic procedure. Dr Z took the time to explain the options and procedure. Then when the day came he and his team were fantastic.
