Staff is very nice and professional. They take time to explain everything to you both front and back office. Great care!

They make me feel like family and Dr. Kasanoff is really great as is his office staff. Dr. Kasanoff has even made a parking lot call. I was suffering from really bad sciatica. I was coming in to get a new pair of glasses and have them fitted. He kept an eye out for me and walked out to my car so I would not have to come in. He did that on his own, I had no idea. I was so grateful he cared enough to help me avoid the brutal pain I would have experienced if I had to walk into the office. If your insurance has him on the approved list, give them a call, you won't be disappointed

My family has been coming here since before I was born when Marvin Kasanoff was the Optometrist. As an adult, I have moved to Riverside and no longer reside in San Diego. I have tried 2 times to go elsewhere that would be easier for me to get glasses or contacts but nothing compares to New View. Me as well as the rest of my family, although we do not live in SD anymore, continue to choose to drive to SD to see Dr. Kasanoff. The office staff, Dina and Jessica have always been there and have always been super sweet and accommodating. It has been taken over (for a loooong time) by his son, David Kasanoff. Dr. David is amazing and so kind. It is always such a nice experience coming for an annual eye exam and getting new glasses. Every single time, Dina, Jessica, and sometimes even Dr. David will participate in the montage of eyeglass options and help select the right pair for me. I have never found an office staff at any kind doctor's office like here at New View which is why we always remained with them. This office is amazing and if you are reading this, just go.

Dr. Kasanoff and his staff are the absolute best. He really takes the time to explain things, and you never feel rushed in or out. I always value his insights and opinions, which is why I also wholeheartedly trusted his referral to a LASIK center that he recommended. I always know I can count on New View to not only see me for my annual appointments, but also when more urgent issues pop up. Thanks for always making me feel cared for!

These guys are great! Dr. Kasanoff takes time to explain what he's doing and always answers any questions I have. Jess and Nancy are so helpful and a lot of fun. I wear contacts, but when my mom has gone in, they've helped her pick out glasses and offered opinions. Such great service!

The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. The ladies in the office watched my infant daughter and played with her while I had my exam. They have taken such good care of our family, and always remember little details about us through the years. We are so happy to have found Dr. David in La Mesa, and his whole staff. I have sensitive eyes and have really struggled to find an office that makes me feel safe and comfortable during my exams. We've been going to them for almost five years now, and we love it!

I've been seeing Dr. Kasanoff for many years, and have always had very good visits. He has always helped me with just the right lenses, and contacts. He will also let me know if my prescription has not changed enough to require new contacts or glasses. His staff is very pleasant and helpful.

I found NewView Optometric Center about 6 years ago, maybe even longer. I started with the location because they are one of the only places I could find that offers Saturday Appointments. The staff is just amazing and have become friends. "Dr. David" (the staff calls him that as his father used to work the shop too) is the best, down to earth, no nonsense guy. Jessica and Nancy work the front and will make you feel like your at home. They never try to upsell you anything, they work with your insurance to get you the best possible pricing and deals. Our dog, a 100 pound Alaskan Malamute is welcome to come to our appointments too! Last week I broke my frames on my two year old glasses, Jessica worked and found me a identical set of frames to replace the broken ones, and if she could not, they have a repair shop that can weld the frames back together if needed! 5 Stars is not enough for you guy, you get 11 out of 5 in my book!
