During an annual visit my test results were not normal they showed damage to both optic nerves. The pressure in my eyes was extremely high after testing and retesting. I was instructed too see my medical provider for further testing. As a result, a extremely large brain tumor was found and surgically removed.
They have my business for life or as long as they are around.

First experience was great. Called to inquire and got an appointment same day. Arrived at office and it was clean, inviting and staff was friendly. Got greeted by a cute dog in the facility, and doctor was nice, friendly and seemed very knowledgeable. Doctor explained everything in detail, and I left feeling confident that my eye trouble would be cared for and resolved. Not to mention they had a lot of cute frame options. My optometrist is Ly, she is so awesome. She has always been patient when choosing which option I see better out of and doesn't seem bothered to repeat them. I always leave with new knowledge about my eyes and with recommendations on what can I do to keep good eye health.
The receptionist are always super nice and they have always attended me pretty fast. I'II be seen with in 10 minutes of arriving.

Dr. Ellis is really good and doesn't try and sell you what you don't need. I went in to buy my regular glasses and computer glasses and he ended up just telling me to buy my computer glasses cause my prescription didn't really change. Didn't try to push for the sale. Good honest place. Highly recommend !

About Ellis Eye Optometry
Dr. Damon M. Ellis obtained his bachelor's degree in biology at West Virginia University where he graduated with high honors. Dr. Ellis then attended University of California Berkeley to earn his Doctorate Degree in Optometry. While in school, Dr. Ellis also studied abroad in Australia and Beijing China. Dr. Ellis was fortunate enough to attend China's top medical university and was able to see some of the countries most interesting and challenging medical cases. Dr. Ellis also headed a free vision clinic at Berkeley that provided eye exams and glasses to those in need. Dr. Ellis is a published children's author and is very comfortable examining children. His first book Lion Stew! came out in 2012.
