Scary levels of unprofessionalism and medical irresponsibility.
I got here and unannounced they said that part of the procedure is dilating my eyes, and that someone should have told me "but if they didn't, they're telling me now".
Then they say, "yeah, it will last 24 hours and it's up to you if you want to drive home."
Up to me??? You're the medical professional.
I ask them will it affect my vision? "yes."
OK THEN WHY WOULD ME DRIVING HOME BE AN OPTION? IT ISN'T!
The nonchalant attitude during this encounter was what put the icing on the cake. The mountain on the molehile. These people just don't care,.or they don't know to care.
Either way, my first encounter with them, they were willing to jeopardize my health, my safety, and the safety of others on the road, due to what seems like pretty egregious miscommunication or lack thereof, I would avoid this place at all cost.

I was there 3 hours for an eye exam on my first visit this is absolutely unacceptable. I won't be back. They were very poor in communicating the process they left me sitting in chairs that were very uncomfortable for a half an hour between each test. Not an experience I wish to repeat there are many opthamologist so I'm sure don't make you stay there for 3 hours to complete their tests.

Dr Shabatian was very nice and patient when I asked questions. His staff was very kind as well and the office/clinic was clean and sanitized. He always took his time checking me, after my surgery he was surprised as to how quickly I was able to see, we were both pleased with the outcome. This office is outstanding. Teresa and Noemi at the front desk are helpful with my questions and sweet. The staff in the back are very helpful and answer questions and make you feel like their happy to see you. Dr. Shabatian is out standing as well. I went to Dr. BEESLEY for years and when he retired it's hard to change drs. But Dr. Shabatian is exceptional and easy to talk to. Made me better without surgery. LANCASTER EYE INSTITUTE in Lancaster is a great office for anyone needing a great experienced Ophthalmologist.

I highly recommend Dr. Shabatian who was informative and professional. Dr. Shabatian did a thorough and accurate eye exam prior to the surgery and discussed the results with me. The staff at Dr. Shabatian's office was also helpful and considerate of my needs. My surgery was on January 18, 2023. The surgery was painless. I was scheduled for a follow-up appointment the next day. I followed the instructions. My vision is now 20/20. It was the best decision I ever made.
