Oroville Hospital

This review is for the X Ray department only. I do not live in this area and don't know of anyone that has been a patient or went to ER. I took my elderly friend here for a chest xray since she needs assistance. I personally would never go here because I have heard some terrible stories about this place! I took my friend in early ( no appointment needed..her doctor called in the order). It was surprisingly clean and not crowded. The building itself is dated and could use a good makeover. After she signed in it was less than 15 minutes to get the chest xay. The techs were very friendly and professional! She had a good experience and we were in and out quickly!

If I could rate 0 stars I would the nurses are mean and have no compassion , if you are tired and over worked take time off . No reason to have attitude and be judgy I really hope if you have been treated terribly like my friend was you report the people who don't deserve to work there . I can only imagine how mean they're behind closed doors . Please hire people who actually want to help people and care . Please avoid this hospital. And if you do RECORD on your phone for YOUR own healthcare and safety Just incase .

I drove my daughter to the ER this morning and had no waiting to check-in. The staff were all excellent, the wait to see physician was amazingly quick. Even waiting for the imaging results was surprisingly fast. Check-out was easy. Highly recommend.

The ICU team was excellent. Treated my father with top notch care. They kept us well informed and the Nurses we had were so incredible.

It's amazing how I ended up in this hospital! It was supposed to be a vacation that ended up in a 5day stay at the hospital! We were visiting my sister-in-law who lives in Gerber, 1 hr drive from Oroville. Unfortunately, they had to rush me to the ER due to blood loss and I was suffering from Anemia. The first hospital didn't do anything except for giving me an IV and anti-nausea medicine. They sent me home. The next day I was in agonizing pain! My sister in law has a friend Cherith Taylor that works there! She's truly God sent!! She helped us out and guided us what to do and how to care for me. Even though she's an hour away, my husband and I with my sister in law decided to go to their hospital, the Oroville Hospital. It's so worth the hour drive and the 4hr wait at the ER waiting room! The ER doctor was so knowledgeable, he ordered all the tests for me. I sadly didn't get his name but he's young and an excellent doctor! I ended up having a surgery as they found polyps that's causing the bleeding. I had the endometrial ablation. Dr. Matthew Bazzani did the surgery and did such a wonderful job!! He's an expert! He explained everything and was very kind and considerate. Dr. Mee Yang is the best!! I know she's very busy attending to many patients but she always came with a smile and listened to me and explained to me what I need to know. Both of these doctors are amazing and at the top of their game! Very loving, professional and passionate! The staff are so wonderful as well! The CNAs, PTs and the Nurses are all kind and caring. I know they can't be there right away when you need them due to so many patients they have to attend to. But they took care of me so well. Even Odette the PT, helped me walk around and helped me clean up. I know for some it's nothing, but for sick people, it means the world! Overall if I can give this hospital 100 stars I WILL!! We patients (and families) need to be considerate and understanding of them as their jobs are not easy. They provide health care to us so we need to be kind and respectful. They are under appreciated and it breaks my heart. I'm now back in Las Vegas recovering from my surgery and I can not thank all of them enough for a job well done! Top-notch doctors and staff! I took all their names as they blessed me so much!! I might have missed some of them. But thank YOU ALL from the bottom of my heart!! RN- Cherith Taylor- YOU are God sent! I've been in quite a few hospitals all across the United States, but Oroville hospital is the worst! They treat you with attitude and force and don't give you the information about what's going on. In the ER the nurse accused me of over dosing and I'm not a drug user. Turn out I had a clot close to my heart. It's up for sale for a reason

I am livid right now I have had my partner in the room for an X-ray and even a mri with me but when he goes in for x rays I am unable to be in the room with him. Every hospital including all prior times at this hospital he has been in with me but I can't be in with him. The sexist bullshit is crazy.

I've been in the Oroville ER a few times & have had 4 surgeries there, at least. I have no complaints at all with my care.
