"I cannot recommend DESERT OPHTHALMOLOGY highly enough! My stepfather recently had an appointment here, and the level of care was simply outstanding. The entire team is super helpful, but a special shout-out goes to Josie, Tracy, and the amazing Jackie. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and informed. It's rare to find a team that is this professional yet so warm and welcoming. Thank you for taking such great care of him. I'm Gio and my stepfather is Mark
They charged me 180 dollars for doing absolutely nothing and won't return my calls when i ask for clarification.
I had an appointment with Dr. Goldban for my Diplopia (an issue i have already gone to them before, and they told me to wait a week on it then referred me to loma linda) (that was july) to finally get a prescription for prism glasses. The receptionist let me make an appt for Dr. Goldban. I had been VERY specific that i was going for prism glasses. I had called to MAKE SURE when i got there i would be getting PRISMS. They made my appointment as if i was a new patient then throughout my appointment staff were confused and scrambling at what had been previously done and what needed to be done. Finally after no dilation, and a basic "read the letter" eye exam, i meet with Dr, Goldban who courteously admits my issue is better suited for an Optometrist at this point. Then why have me make an appointment? It should not have been Dr Goldban in person telling me in person to see an optometrist, that should have been something handled by scheduling staff when i had called beforehand. Either way, I make an appt with their optometrist on site for tuesday. I confirm with the receptionist that for today, there is no charge. They confirmed and let me know i would have a charge when i come back for the eye exam. Fair enough. Monday evening at 4:52 pm, while i was at work, they call and tell me they need to reschedule and my appointment is canceled for tuesday. I try to return the call at 4:57 and THEY LET MY PHONE RING UNTIL THEIR CALL CENTER AUTO CLOSES AT 5. Of course i don't reschedule and end up getting the damn glasses, with the correct prism prescription, somewhere else WITHIN THE WEEK. Then later on in the month i get an invoice in the mail that my insurance was billed 180 dollars for some evaluation, and my responsibility is close to 100 dollars. Since i have not gotten any sort of evaluation, i have zero idea what this could be. I can't figure it out either since Desert ophthalmology will not return my calls.
The doctors might be good here, but i wouldn't know because the staff and billing are absolutely unorganized and useless.
If you can go somewhere else, go there.
My client was the patient, Bette S. she was very satisfied with the services she received.
All of the staff, including the optometrist, were friendly, caring, kind and professional from the front offices, to the back office.
The whole office itself was very clean. They go over and beyond to make sure you have a pleasant visit.
If you're cold natured, it may be a little chilly for you. Bring along a light sweater or long sleeve. They keep the temperature lower to keep the germs at bay,
Overall, I would recommend Desert Ophthalmology to everyone, hands down.
Thank you for your phenomenal service.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Horrible customer service. Even from the manager. They are terrible at returning calls. Constant headache dealing with them. Go anywhere else.
You know, I've been coming to this office for many years. They have a high turnover in staff unfortunately. The current manager is absolutely useless. She never knows what going on, can never get a straight answer and never treats your concerns as a priority. Two stars because I like the rest of the staff but their management is an utter disappointment.
The Ladies are Great. I felt very comfortable and as I went through the exams I knew I was in good hands. Very efficient! And I was very impressed with the assortment of Glasses they had to choose from. I've been with Drs before where the selection was nothing to be desired. I would recommend this Opthalmologist to anyone. And I am excited over the style of glasses I get to wear Thank You so much. Sincerely Virginia Wallace
This ophthalmologist practice is really state of the art world class both and people first and equipment and technology. I could not have been more impressed. I come from an East Coast family who only went to Boston hospitals or the best hospitals in the world whenever something is going on and I can tell you for an experience. These guys are right up there at the top don't think twice about visiting these people. The doctors are amazing. The staff is amazing. They could not be more friendly, they could not be more accommodating and every single way they even gave me an apple when I left.
I was very disappointed with my visit to Desert 0phthalmology clinic.
The receptionist was pleasant and courteous at check-in.
My appointment was at 3pm and I waited 45 minutes before I was asked by a young nurse technician to follow him, he was very impersonal and didn't take me to the initial testing with ease. He then took me to another waiting room where I waited for one hour before the optometrist showed up to tell me in 5 minutes to come back for a second appointment. I'm not coming back!
