Azul Vision Pasadena

My mother had a wonderful experience with Dr Amini. She says he is compassionate and so far the best retina specialist she has ever had. With him she has seen tremendous improvement in her condition. He was very happy to inform her of her progress. He communicates very well in Spanish and is passionate about his patients. He is a blessing. We ned more doctors like him.

Dr. Camara is a wonderful doctor. Very thorough and willing to teach us about the different options. We had many questions about our son's vision issues and he answered them all. Never hurried us. Will continue to go to him.

Great place, very clean and cozy. Staff are friendly, professional and most importantly customer satisfaction is above and beyond. Doctor was excellent, very good with explaining step by step procedures, major bonus is the fact he actually took time to listen to me, really listen and made individual treatment plan based around me and my routine.

Dr. Patel at Azul Vision is wonderful. During my consultation, he was very hands on, asking the staff to do this twst then that test, when he could have been sitting in his office. They are perfectly capable but he was there to make sure. Then, during the procedure, he was very kind and comforting. I knew I was in good hands. Back today,for my post procedure consultation, he was, again, very hands on and answered more of my silly questions without batting an eye. You can tell that he wants to ease any concerns you may have. I've literally never had a doctor as attentive as Dr. Patel. And the staff is at Azul is wonderful also.

This organization has done everything right. A clean, comfortable office environment. Efficiently run practice. Friendly, helpful staff. Dr. Obi was kind, approachable and knowledgeable. 100% recommend.

They have great doctors but the office overbooks. If you have an 8am appt, come at 7:30 and expect to be seen at 10:30am. Approximately 30 filled seats and 25 people standing or sitting outside on the planters waiting to be seen. Out of the 4 Azul vision offices I have visited, this was the busiest.

The wait time to be taken in was excellent. I was taken before my appointment because I was early to arrive. The wait time for the doctor was a bit long... 15 minutes or more. Staff is excellent especially Kye. The front desk person who rang up my vitamins could be more efficient and personable. She seemed unsure about how to ring me up. Maybe she is new. All in all very satisfied with Azul and Dr. Amini is outstanding!

Abusive, Outrageously Unprofessional, and Totally Intolerable Behavior I am appalled by the behavior of Dr. Eugene Chang. During a visit involving my father, Dr. Chang's ego was apparently so fragile that he became violently upset simply because I took my father to see an eye specialist. What followed was a shocking display of unprofessionalism: he yelled at me, cursed repeatedly using the F-word, and verbally attacked me with insulting names. This was not a minor lapse--it was full-blown abuse from someone entrusted with patient care. Such conduct is completely unacceptable. A physician who behaves this way is not only failing to meet basic professional standards but is actively creating a hostile and intimidating environment for patients and their families. No one should ever have to endure verbal assault from a doctor. I strongly believe Dr. Chang should face serious disciplinary action. This behavior is disgraceful, intolerable, and entirely incompatible with the responsibilities of a medical professional. Any organization or board that allows such conduct to go unchecked is complicit in permitting abuse. Patients deserve respect, compassion, and professionalism--anything less is reprehensible.
