was recommended here by a coworker and his selling line was imagine the DMV if they were efficient and sold glasses. Upon walking in there thoroughly impressed with the customer service of the staff and the broad variety of frames. To my surprise there was Another side of the facility that explicitly deals with the eye exams. Blown away at the level of service. VSP plus Was accepted here and went a long way. All in all, I cannot wait to return next year from my next exam.

Faye was my service provider. She was wonderful. It was like she knew me for years. She helped me find exactly what I was looking for. She is very experienced and great at her job. I wish I would have met her sooner. Linden is lucky to have her..
I took my elderly father to Linden to get glasses. Everyone was exceedingly helpful and nice. Staff members helped him down the elevator, helped select frames and ensured that his insurance covered most of the cost. There were more than plenty of choices in all price ranges. A very good experience, heartily recommended.
I love this place!
I think they take walk ins, not sure but I've made a same day phone appt for my kid several times. This place has the largest variety of glasses in the area. The prices are decent compared to other locations. The Linden doctors still work there, I want to say one of my kids 1st eye exams was by one of the Linden Doctors. Very professional, courteous and kind. Kudos to Saida, she helped my teen with his prescription sunglasses. She also held onto a pair of glasses I loved til my new benefits kicked in. Saida was very patient , through, professional but most important courteous. Customer service is lacking in many businesses these days but she's made my last 2 visits fabulous.
You have to check in if you want to view the frames, don't just walk in like an elephant! Almost forgot , the doctor gave my teen a couple days of contacts to see if he liked them.

I came in for an appointment today to get my eyes checked after having surgery a year ago. The good news is everything looks great, and I'm really happy about that. My concern is with the customer service--not the exam itself, which was excellent.
Things felt very laid-back when it came to explaining the glasses and benefits. Once I picked out my frames, I sat down with someone who didn't explain anything. They didn't review my benefits with me or walk me through the costs. I already know my benefits, but I was still surprised that they just handed me a total without any breakdown. At that point, I didn't even feel like arguing because I knew what I came in for.
I ended up having to ask questions myself. I paid the amount I was told. When I asked for an itemized receipt, I was told my account was still "open" so they couldn't provide one. Then she stamped my paperwork "Final Sale" without ever telling me beforehand that all sales were final--that could've been a dealbreaker for me.
I've been coming here for over 42
years--since I was 16, and I'm 58 now--so I know I'm not mistaken when I say the experience hasn't improved. You really need to move away from a paper-heavy system and start using electronic records more. It makes me uncomfortable seeing my personal information just sitting out on desks, whether in the front or the back.
I may have to consider going somewhere else in the future. Over the many years I've been coming, the organization hasn't really evolved; if anything, some things have been taken away. This used to be a thriving place with a lot of energy. Some of us remember when you were very accommodating--offering coffee and cookies, for example. I'm not asking for snacks, but I do expect quality service, clear communication, and transparency.
Walking patients through the process step-by-step and explaining costs and benefits clearly would add a lot of value to everyone's experience.
Friendly staff, and very helpful, answered all of my questions. Especially had a pleasant, eye exam with Dr Natalie Ruckus, she has great energy and was thorough with the examination, easing any anxiety or questions I had. Giving me great information on my result and which eye drops to use for dry eyes. Also had positive feedback on my eyes, showed me and explained the images. Was very knowledgeable and would definitely come back to have her do my future exams.
We had such a great experience at Linden Optometry! I took my kids and myself, and from start to finish the staff was kind, patient, and very professional. They made my kids feel comfortable and explained everything clearly, which I really appreciated. The office is clean, welcoming, and well organized. We felt truly cared for and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for families!

Dr. Yang is truly amazing. He took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand, even using analogies that really helped it all make sense. He's so thorough, patient, and genuinely kind. You can tell he really cares about his patients.
Stewart was awesome! He gave me all the time I needed to look around for frames and even helped me pick out the perfect pair. He was so patient, knowledgeable, and friendly, never rushed me, and explained all the options clearly. I really appreciated how he recommended what I needed without being pushy.
Such a positive and comfortable experience from start to finish. I'm so grateful to both Dr. Yang and Stewart for their kindness and care! Highly recommend!
