Can't help because no screws. Then he tries to upsell me into transitions, lol
Call toll free number. Same answer but I could return. Got return email. Ask for transition for free because would be without glasses for 2 weeks. No go.
Ask for mgr. Wait 1/2 hr for answer. She says will give 30% discount and UPS them. Ok. Then she said ok to keep current glasses.
They should give mgt the ability to comp for customer service issues. I wasn't asking for the moon and they were making new ones anyway.
I'm leaving a Google review because the website wouldn't allow me to leave a review. I ordered the Relive frames ($79) around November of 2023 and it's been nearly 2 years now. So how have the frames held up? Honestly incredibly poorly after the first year, the metal arms have discoloration and are pitted to the point where they look gross. The plastic parts are faded and discolored and the nose piece oxidized and left green stains in and around the rim of the lenses that is impossible to remove. The frames look nice at first but if these are your main glasses prepare to shell out more money for a new pair after a year or two.
I had a really disappointing customer service experience with Mary Joy and Karen. Requested assistance ordering one pair of frames that is presenting a glitch from the Canadian site, and CS flat-out refused to help fix the issue.
Basically, there's one pair of frames that has been glitching for months when you try to add prescription lenses from the Canadian site. You can add lenses to any other pair of frames on the site, add it to your cart, and go to checkout. But not this one pair. It'd been this way for 6 months, and it wasn't just me having this issue. I'd tried everything possible -- different devices, clearing my cache, incognito browsers, having others place the order for me.
Finally, the mobile view was updated to say the frames are no longer available. But the desktop view still shows that they are available. So I tried ordering again, encountered the same issue, and reached out to CS.
I asked them to alert their tech team and fix the issue, and they declined. They insisted that the frames are available in Canada and that you can complete the order. In spite of the screenshot attached here.
After hearing about my intent to leave a review, and 30+ minutes of back and forth, they finally agreed to have the IT team look into the issue.
Very disappointing experience, and needlessly so.

Support was horrible and not helpful at all. Delivery was misdelivered but lack of knowledge from the support staff and forcing me to wait 45 minutes to talk to someone who could potentially help and lack of ability to help was frustrating and aggravating. Made me wait 45 min just to tell me we can't do anything and refused to even send an email to usps to request an update on an order that should have been delivered. Basic help or even attempt would have been appreciated but felt extremely disrespected.
Canada post strike . I contacted them about the Canada Post strike . They told me purolator doesn't deliver to my address. I explained three times over half an hour that purolator comes to my house regularly as I use them for work all the time . They still refused to send my glasses via purolator . They then proceeded to tell me I could not cancel my order as it has already shipped..... how ? Canada post is on strike all services. The glasses are still at the Eyebuydirect warehouse . worst service ever just paid 300$ for glasses I won't receive
Absolutely disappointed with this company. I used to love their frames, but my recent order arrived not only broken right out of the box, but also cheaply made -- which was honestly a shock. When I reached out for help, the first customer service rep was extremely rude -- impatient, dismissive, and even cut me off mid-sentence. From there, the follow-up emails were vague, unhelpful, and dragged the situation out instead of fixing it. I had to escalate to a supervisor, which accomplished nothing. They did give me a refund, but when I gave them another chance, the service was just as horrible -- dismissive, unhelpful, and basically no attempt to make this right. Buyer beware.
I haven't received my glasses yet. I will come back and update my review when I do receive them.
The order prices were great. Especially for the anti glare only costing an additional $6.95. I took a picture of my prescription and it was uploaded. Very simple.
It has been a week since I've done the process and the glasses are still in processing. They advertise a 2 day shipping but so far that is very untrue. I did receive a 30% discount on my first order which is something to appreciate.
Regularly my glasses cost around $250, anti glare an additional $50, for one pair.
I spent 34$ on 2 pairs of glasses with this company. So I saved quite a bit of money.
**Update**
glasses took the full 14 days to arrive, but I absolutely love them. Both pairs fit perfectly which is never my luck.
My good friend recommended Eyebuydirect to me, and I'm so glad they did! We both prefer wide, half-framed glasses, and the selection here was way better than any glasses store I've been to in my 35 years. Honestly, I think most regular eye stores just don't carry the style I like.
Not only did they have tons of options, but the frames were a fraction of the price of other online stores--even with vision insurance! My lenses are usually super expensive since I get all the bells and whistles (transitional, anti-glare, blue-light reduction, anti-scratch, ultra-thin), but I was able to apply a coupon and saved over $300 compared to buying them from an eye doctor.
Just a heads-up: you'll need your prescription and your focal point distance, which you'll have to get from an optometrist. After that, though, the process is super straightforward and easy. Highly recommend!
