Adding one more to the pile of negative reviews here. The front desk staff will confirm an appointment over the phone and tell you they called to reschedule when you show up in person. This has happened multiple times to my father at both the Pasadena and Glendora offices. Today is the final straw. My 70 year old father took time off from work to drive 40 mins for his appointment, just to be told the doctor is not in without any notice. The staff even called to confirm his appointment. If you are in dire need of eye care, especially with diabetes, do NOT come here. It will be a complete waste of time. Your time is better spent finding other qualified ophthalmologists in the area.

if your doctor is Khaled Tawansy, do not under any circumstance come here. PLEASE GO ANYWHERE ELSE. he is TERRIBLE. does not know what he is doing. save yourself and your vision and go somewhere else.

If I could get no stars, I would. Most recently we was here for my elderly father's appointment day before and I called to confirm the appointment because no one did. That morning of the appointment I was told his time was 9:40A and I told them we had an appt reminder stating 10:50A which I also recorded on my cell phone calendar. I was told to bring g in the appointment slip so they could verify! Next day we had an appointment for visual with the technician and it was at 10A . 30 minutes later we were still waiting. We didn't get called until 45 minutes. The technician told us his appointment was at 11A after I has confirmed with the front desk. There was even a woman who was turned away and told her appointment was the next day. The same happens at the Glendora office. I witnessed another elderly woman who was crying because she was told her appointment date was not the day she showed up. It was on another date is what she was told. I approached her and found out that her son had died during his visit to another country as this visit was during the pandemic. There was not much empathy or compassion. Most of the patients are elderly. I called my father's insurance to let them know about the issues we and other elderly patients have experienced. The doctors and some of the technicians are good but the staff that runs the facility in Pasadena and Glendora are lacking professionalism.

Do not come here for care. It is impossible to get any help from the staff over the phone or in person. They over book appointments which causes long wait time. I will form a complaint with Optum healthcare to let them know of their negligence. My mother had cataract surgery and ran out of eye drops post surgery. I could not get anyone to assist with a refill over the phone or in person. This delay has caused a set back in my mother's recovery. It's a shame that the level of care has come to this.

The doctor and staff were great; they bent over backwards to get us in on short notice to help my friend who is disabled and couldn't come in very often. The office is very nice and the staff is professional and courteous. They have one big problem and that is with their office admin system. It's very hard to get ahold of them on the phone for records and referrals or to talk to your doctor, or to talk to anyone, really. I hope they can get that issue fixed because otherwise it's a great office!

Got authorization last year and had an appt in Sept to get eyedrops to help with a droopy eyelid. The appt went well and they tested the eyedrops and it worked great. Unfortunately, they were out of stock. They told me to call in every week to check. The first times I left a message and they did return my call saying they still didn't have it in stock. However, they haven't returned my last three phone calls. Really frustrating you can never get anyone on the phone too. Glad I don't have a serious vision problem and feel so sorry for anyone trying to get treatment here. Go somewhere else!

I have never left a review regarding a doctors office, BUT after the horrible experience I had at Foothill Vision Center in Pasadena I felt I should warn future clients! I scheduled appts to be seen first in the morning 7:50am, only to get there before the staff. The office was actually dark and I wasn't allowed in until after 8am. I was told the front desk staff were running late. This set my appointment very late. On a different date, I met with another doctor for a different reason and was told I would receive a call back with 4-5 days with an response to an authorization ... after calling 4 times I finally reached someone on the 14th day. I was placed on hold for over 30 minutes several times, I was lied too, and my calls were never returned and that was after I asked to speak to Management staff. I filed a formal complaint with my Medical Group since they are the ones who referred me. They are the most UNPROFESSIONAL office! Stay away!

I don't know what is going on. My dads appointments are continuously being cancelled. My dad had an appointment today at the Glendora office and they confirmed with me yesterday. He showed today and they rescheduled till October 30. He didn't even see a DR. He needs his shots on a regular basis and now has to wait over 2 months. Due to insurance he's only allowed to see this DR. Unbelievable
