Rancho Mirage Eye Care Optometry

Extremely disappointed in this office. I had been there twice before and their over-the-top expensive glasses take an excessively long time to receive. I waited almost 2 months to get my glasses. There was always an excuse or problem with their obviously shoddy lab who could not get my sunglasses to pass inspection 3 or 4 times. I lost count. It has caused me a great deal of stress when I could not see very well and had to drive at a lower level of vision. The calls I had to make were constant. Management does not call you back; you are always trying to track staff down to find some help here. I went for my eye test and the optometrist could not tell me if I had an eye disease but I was a "suspect". They put some goggle lenses over my head and they were filthy and the person doing this test was very rude to me. This is a very incompetent, unprofessional and unaccountable office. I will never go back here for any reason. It was such a relief to be done with this daily and awful headache. The customer does not matter here at all so please be aware of your eye help choices. I recently visited Rancho Mirage Eye Care and had an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and kindness from the staff. Dr. Evans himself was incredibly knowledgeable and professional, taking the time to thoroughly explain the various tests and procedures I would be undergoing during my eye exam. He was patient and attentive, answering all of my questions and ensuring that I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. What impressed me most about this however, was the level of personalized care I received. Rather than rushing through my appointment, Dr. Evans took the time to understand my specific needs and concerns, tailoring his recommendations and treatment plan accordingly. He also provided me with valuable information about eye health and preventative care, which I found incredibly helpful. Overall, I would highly recommend this practice to anyone in need of eye care. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the facilities are top-notch, and the level of care provided is truly exceptional.

I ordered a pair of.special eye lenses they offer for keratoconus transplant cases. I spent 3000 dollars. I waited 1 1/2 months, saw/ordered/fit April 1st. (I dont know when this was coming) i followed up later, they told me they didnt put the order in! After apologizing profusely, they told me they would try to expediate the order, but in any case it should be there in a week. This was Monday a week ago. It is now Friday of the week after, two weeks, and I still havent received a call. I called in and they wont have someone to speak to me until Monday next week. My contacts still arent in. Then, the receptionist hung up on me abruptly. I was never rude, but to the point that I needed to speak to someone urgently and that needed to be put in. This has yet to be resolved. Their initial service was exemplary, but this lack of fulfillment and slack communication is the opposite.

Dr. did not approve cataract surgery on first visit. Suggested I could mange with new prescription. After spending over $600 on new glasses that did NOT correct my vision or reduce glare at night Dr. Approved cataract surgery. Dr. advised that once surgery was completed I could come back and they would replace the lenses in my glasses. I tried to return and was told that I would have to pay for new glasses. I gave Karen in the office the full history and she confirmed that it was all noted in my file but I would still have to pay. As a follow up she was going to speak to Dr next day and call me back.... 2 weeks later no call. Please don't trust these folks.... liar liar pants on fire kinda business.

I've never been so pleased and content with an optometry office! From start to finish it was a delightful experience. I was walked everywhere in the building by staff versus saying " have a seat over there"; much better customer service experience. The medical assistant who performed test was so kind and thorough. She explained everything we were doing, what to expect and why. She was very knowledgeable- the entire staff was! Dr. Lee was the first doctor to explain my vision/eye issues clearly, knowledgeably and thoroughly. He was friendly and I could even tell he was smiling behind his mask. After my exam he walked to/pulled out a chair for me in the glasses selection area where I was met By another friendly and knowledgeable team member. She picked out glasses for me that were better for my face than the ones i was looking at and I love the frame/color/everything. She clearly knows frames and face shapes and they had a great selection! She was so friendly and incredibly helpful! Overall- hands down- best optometrist office I've been to for a variety of reasons from technology, knowledge, high levels customer service, great selection and overall vibe in the office!

What a wonderful experience! We have been dreading this eye exam for months, however the process was seamless, the office was clean the staff was exceptional. Demian took his time with us and helped both my husband and I find the perfect pair of glasses. Dr. Evan's was very kind and caring. I'm so glad we went. It was totally worth it.

The staff is rude,unhelpful and very desripectful including the doctors assistance, (lady)I don't know about the doctor .

My first impression of this place was very good but it turned out to be the opposite. It has been three months since my initial visit and I still don't have my paid for glasses. Not only that but they charged me $100 more than the price they quoted me for the frames. The first pair were so bad I couldn't see out of them without nausea or a headache. They sent them back. Another two weeks wait. The second time the glasses came apart before I even left the office. I assumed they would put a rush on it this time. Nope! Took three more weeks. I haven't had time this week to go back so it has now been three months. Those glasses were over $800. I am not happy as you can imagine.
